Default Should I blame it on that baked sweet potato?

I had a bakes sweet potatoe for dinner last night I noticed that my tummy got bloated right away and it still is. My tummy is normally flat, but I did something different and I want to blame the potato. I normally don't eat potatoes and haven't had any in a long time. I also noticed that I had a little heart burn too afterwards. Maybe I ate too much. I ate a medium sized sweet potato. Anyway, I'm totally confused about this as this hasn't happened before. Sorry about complaining, but I don't have anybody else to talk to about this stuff.

Sass, you mentioned in a different thread that you also had a few mini cinnabons yesterday. I think that that's what caused your tummy bloating and the heartburn.

Yeah, I'd agree with Cottage. A potato shouldn't cause bloating unless you poured a bunch of salt on it.

I had the cinnabuns with lunch and I don't ever get sick from cinnabuns . No dinner so I ate a potato then I got sick.

SBD, I eat sweet potatoes at least twice a week and don't ever have any problems. I would say to up your water today and stick your whole foods. I bet you will be better by tomorrow.

SBD Sass, you may not realize the source of the heartburn based on when you felt it.

I don't think you can get a good gauge of how starches and fruits affect your cravings and your body if you're still eating sugars. Once you've detoxed from the cinnabuns (Phase 1), try the potato again and see how you do.

Will do!

And I'm going to try to stay away from Cinnabun as I used to eat two big ones when I was living unhealthy. Eeeeek!!! This always happens when I go to the mall and then Christmas is coming too so that's more shopping. I'll try to compose myself.

Thanks for the help everyone!!!!
