Default What do you eat when you don't feel like cooking?

I've been feeling pretty lazy lately, and I havn't wanted to cook ANYTHING. I love cooking so this is pretty weird for me, but I've been trying to come with things that are easy to make without being pre-packaged. I thought it would be fun to share some of our "go to" ideas for when we're just drained and don't feel like cooking.

I eat pretty much the same breakfast everyday. A piece of toast with 1 tblspoon on peanut butter and a cup of soy yogurt. Simple, easy, and fast.

A baked sweet potato and some beans.

I usually have some mock tuna or egg salad in the fridge, so I'll throw some of that on a piece of whole grain bread and have a piece of fruit.

A couple of pieces of fruit and a bowl of oatmeal.

cereal. Its my go to no cook food. But, I always throw the bowl on the scale and make sure I'm only eating one serving, cause things can get hairy with cereal. I also like oats in yogurt.
When I'm super lazy, I'll eat pickels straight outta the jar, wrapped with a piece of lunch meat. Ya, learned that recipe in college...

It's the only time I'll eat those frozen meals by Lean Cuisine or Healthy Choice.

Salad... like lettuce with sliced avocado, orange and other random vegetables.

And I usually have at least one portion of previously-made curry or soup in the freezer, ready to be unfrozen and eaten.

Frozen vegetable meals that take 4 mins in the microwave (only have around 140 cals for whole container). Half sandwich and a piece of fruit, fat free cottage cheese, can of tuna, salmon pouch, raw veggies.......the list is endless :P

I had a tomato with cottage cheese, and a bowl of progesso light soup. Soup goes in the microwave, and just cut up the tomato. Tada insta dinner.

Did you guys ever see that Ziploc bag that is suppose to cook food on steam or something like that???
So that is my favorite thing to use when I don’t want to cook.
For the fall I make my own diet “Apple pie, without the dough”.
I slice the apple and put cinnamon and sweet low in a bag and heat it up...
Smells delicious, like fall food and has so little calories.
I also do it with pumpkin... Super fast and delicious...
enjoy!!!

Not want to cook? All the time. Not an option though, with a hungry husband who'd just as soon eat a double cheeseburger and super sized order of fries than something quick, fast and in a hurry. I feel almost obligated to cook to keep him from killing himself with grease...

My "no cook" option is always a local salad bar. They have lean proteins, tons of veggies, etc. I just pick it up and am good to go.
