I know I probably sound like such a baby, but the mild winters on the southeast coast have spoiled me. I don't even know what I would do if it snowed. Probably cry and turn the thermostat up to 90 degrees.

yesterday was the first day it got cold here...and by cold i mean in the 50s. but i know what you mean because i used to live in super northern michigan on like 3 lakes.
I've never seen snow. Except for that one time when there were flurries and we got a snow day in high school. They lasted for 3 hours! It was the best day...
I know we will have a disagreement on what is 'cold' but I live in Florida and should never feel cold before December even. When I walked to class this morning I didnt think to turn on the tv to check the weather. Why should I? I live in FLORIDA. It shouldnt be cold. Well, I wore a regular short sleeve tshirt, jeans, and flip flops (they are year round footwear here). And just incase the classroom was cold, I grabbed a sweatshirt. Mind that our sweatshirts are pretty thin due to the normal climate. Well, a mile walk to class when its 45 degrees outside is less pleasant than I was expecting this morning.
Jelbb, We live so close but I haven't noticed snow yet! Although I'm hardly outside. I did hear it WILL be snowing this week.
I just wanna cry I HATE snow!. I like it on Christmas eve and Christmas morning, then it can GO AWAY!
I like snow better than rain. (Unless it would be really really cold I guess.) All it does here is rain rain rain. I have cycled 100 kms in the rain this weekend. And it is windy, and it's cold (about 10 degrees). I don't want to go running outside... which is bad (for it is my most frequent exercise). We have the ****tiest weather in the world. But I guess I would hate snow as much as you do if we got a load of it all the time.
I actually WISH it was snowing, because then it wouldn't be raining!! It's a mess here... been raining all night and all morning. This campus just fills up with puddles every time it rains (very old walkways and whatnot) so it's really unpleasant walking around today. Not to mention the slippery dead leaves that are still all over. It's probably 40 F here, but with the wind and the rain it feels colder.
I am in southern B.C. now so it is only about 4C this morning, but I spent 13 years in Calgary, so I remeber cold and snow!! My kids never once went trick or treating without a costume big enough to wear a snowsuit under!! BRRRR!!
Now since my job gets busier during ski season... some more snow on the mountains would be great..just not on the highways.
