Default calorie counts for pizza

Hi there chicks. I find myself guesstimating when adding up calories.

what do you think? is the cheese off a slice of restaurant pizza 1 oz or more like 2? If it is very thick I'll edge upwards towards 2 oz/ 160 cals but if the cheese is not an obscene amt I might do 1 or 1.5 oz./ 80 or 120cals.

then I'll add for 1/4 cup pizza sauce, which is on the high side, I think.

thoughts welcome

My fitday calculator tells me it's around 250 for an 1/8 of a 12 inch meat pizza.

When I eat at a restaurant that doesn't have nutrition facts, I usually look at another restaurant for comparison. Pizzahut.com, for example. Maybe that would help?

go to Dominos website and look at nutritional info, not where you build a meal, but the actual PDF chart where they give you the nutritional info on the individual sized pizzas with different toppings. They break it down by type of crust, cheese, sauce, each topping, etc and you have to add it up yourself.

http://www.dominos.com/home/menu/nutrition.jsp

You can scroll to the bottom of the above link and see it there.
