Its a VLCD total meal replacement diet. I've know several people lose a fair amount of weight on it but not one person who's maintained the loss. Not good for long-term weightloss if that is your goal.

I was on it many, many years ago. When there were only the shakes and pudding (not the soups and such), and it really made me hate chocolate pudding.

huh. sounds dangerous. I think its better to start off slowly, because that way, you can learn the way you're supposed to eat (a skill you'll need later for maintenance), but everyone is different.

but got the packets.
so basically its packets of shakes or food.

3 packets a day

you mix it with 300 ml water blend and drink it

so you just take these 3 packets everyday for 2 weeks i think.

Trouble is its not new, its been around in the UK for many years. Like I said I've known many people lose on it but not one who kept the weight off.

Jumps out of lurkdom.

I have. Lost 8 stone (112lbs) and have kept it off for 3+ years. The most I have put on in that time is 4lbs (after an operation).

It was a brilliant diet for me and am loving maintaining my loss.

Ummm, you have seen the rest of the great big forum, haven't you? I think the sensible ways of eating on 3FC far far far far outweigh the VLCDs.
