Default Soya So Good...Or Bad?

Sorry if this question has already been put out there but i tried searching and couldnt find it.
Ive been vegetarian since i was 7 (now 21) and recently turned vegan.
The problem is i read a few days ago that soy/a is bad for you in general but especially if you have PCOS, as it releases LOADS of Eestrogen which turns into Testosterone quickly, hence the weight gain, hair, periods etc.
I have decided to give it up yesterday to see if it makes a difference and am trying to buy organic food aswell.

Has anyone else heard about this or seen any effects if they have cut it out?

Or have you cut out anything in general that has helped visibly?

Thanks
