that always makes you feel sexy? For me, it's a classic black dress. With black tights, and black heels. Even with the extra pounds, I always feel like a knockout when I can dress up in that.
I have a beautiful ivory knit dress with matching cardigan that I bought from Lane Bryant in Florida in 1999. It has matching beading on the neckline, sleeves and hem. It smoothes over everything, washes like a dream and looks as good now as the day I bought it! I have worn it a bagillion times and love it love it love it everytime I put it on...and I don't care if I have worn it before because it has been different people/event each time lol I hope it lasts until I DON"T FIT IT ANYMORE! Although it seems to be a wonder dress that fits from 24-16 sizewise LOL)
My Bio Lift bra from Victoria's Secret. Even though I am probably a B now -- well, B+ -- I still wear a C in it and look like a C when I wear it. I thought if I lost 40 pounds I would lose a couple bra sizes -- not so with this bra. I have no butt, so any pair of pricey jeans usually give me a nice little tight fit on my behind.
I have a nice, a-line black skirt that I found at Lane Bryant several months ago. It's already too big, but I'll be tailoring it so I don't lose it! I slip that on, with a well fitting, sapphire blue top and my kitten heels and I feel FIERCE.
I have a black, straight-lined dress that is really tailored -- almost like a business, coat dress but it falls almost to my ankles and it buttons all the way down the front. Everytime I wear it, I feel so elegant. I think it might be my favorite piece of clothing ever -- and it is about to be too big!!! I am not much of a tailor, but I am actually thinking about taking it somewhere to have it altered, I like it so much. Every time I wear it, I get sooo many compliments. If it can't be fixed, it is one thing I will actually miss from my previous, bigger size.
I have a pair of 4 inch Stuart Weitzman stilettos that I just love... They're made of cork, and are a neutral colour so they make my legs look super long. I just love the way I walk in them (can't walk far in 4 inch heels, though!)
Sexy clothing item? It's gotta be the shoes. My fav is a 4 inch pair of strappy Baby Phat sandals that I love. I also nabbed a pair of black patent leather 4 inch wedges with a sharp strap around the ankles that I can dress up for out on the town and yet still wear to work without looking like a bimbo. They are surprisingly comfortable as well.
Right now my special piece of clothing is this kicky little cotton summer skirt. It's cinched at the waist and flares out to just above my knee. I wear it with cute sandals and a tshirt and it makes me feel really sexy and slim.
