  • Hi chickies!! Welcome to the binge free challenge!! You can come in here and post your weekly successes and struggles and keep track of your binge free days. You can also vent about anything and everything you feel like getting out. This is a positive thread, so I have to enforce the "be careful about being too negative" rule. We are here to share our feelings and to encourage and inspire each other. We are strong chicks and I KNOW we all can do this!! And we don't have to do it alone, we have each other to get us through the rough times.

ALL chicks are welcome -- no one is excluded! If you are trying to lose weight, not trying, maintaining, recovering from an eating disorder, in the midst of one, or have ANY kind of problem with food, we would love to have you join us!!

If anyone has any questions or concerns, or you just need to talk privately, don't hestitate to PM me.

    Let's have an awesome week!!
  • it was a huge relief to log in tonight and see this thread! The last day or two I have had some personal issues and I went on the morning/afternoon of the 20th. I have noticed I cannot eat certain foods at all. For instance, tortilla chips can sit there for weeks, but potato chips would be gone an hour after I get home from the store. It's impossible for me to only have one serving. I thought food was food, I did not know certain foods are a trigger. Here's to making July 21st day 1 binge free!
  • Good luck, BetterLife.

I am back to day 1 today.
  • Hi Everyone,

I'm on day two-- birthday weekend.
  • I am beginning again... day one for me! Im writing this on my signiture.. I think it might help!
  • Week three binge free. It's easier for me during the summer because I don't have the stress of work to trigger a binge. I start back the end of next week. This summer went WAY too fast for me. I really don't want to go back to work. I didn't accomplish anything on my list. But I did get my eating under control. We'll have to see if it sticks after I start back to work.
  • day two, wanting to make it a week. im going to acapulco in a few days so hopefully i will spend my time swimming and running and getting some sun and not have time to lose my mind as per usual. ive promised myself a new bag if i make it...wish me luck
  • Hey guys! The 21st was binge free now I plan to keep going all week (and beyond!)
  • I made it my first day.. not one binge! I'm proud of myself.. ONce I get a few days under my belt it's somewhat easier. yay!
  • Jumping in on the challenge. Battling binge eating disorder for years now and I do better when I commit to not bingeing. Its day 2 for me.
  • day 2 = complete! going on vacation until sunday...ahh wish me luck with the rest of the challenge!!
  • I'm brand-new here, and have been struggling with getting control over binging for a long-time, even though I didn't think of my interactions with food as "binges" until very recently. I have a feeling I'm going to be in this forum a lot.

I've not binged all day today. Being on this site tonight is helping me put the brakes on the inevitable dive into a box of cereal and/or bag of Fritos and/or box of crackers that happens every night after the kids go to bed. Thanks!!!
  • Day 2 is now complete! Im feeling pretty good. Even though I was exhausted I worked out yesterday. Everybody stay strong!
  • Hi everyone. I wanted to pop in and say hello. I've been doing ok, cleaned most junk food triggers out of my house. --just checkin' in. staying accountable...
    have a good week chickies!
  • Hey everyone, day 2 binge free. LAst night was a little hard. No one was home.. so I was super tempted to eata huge bow of sorbet. I did have a small bowl and stopped there. I was proud.. as much as I wanted to fill it up again and again and again. Who woudl have thought 2 days binge free would be hard to do!! Way to go everyone, keep it up!
