Wii Fit Challenge - Starting 6/25

  • I am starting this thread for anyone who'd like to do the Wii Fit (or, really, any game system) as their exercise program.

    My plan is to do a minimum of 30 mins 5-6 days a week. I'm already doing 2-3 days a week, so I'll have to step it up a little, but I'm better at the programs now!!

    My goal is to lose 10 pounds by the end of August. I'd like to lose more, but I'll be happy if I can meet that goal!

    So, anyone who'd like to join in, please do!!! Please post your plans and goals and any tips that you may have!!!
  • That's awesome, okay so now I'm in like 4 different challenges, whatever keeps me going. I will have to make a goal of how many days I should do.

  • Okay, I'm in...I've already been using my wii fit for the last month. A challenge will be a nice way to keep me accountable. Should we log our activity daily?

    I too use my Wii Fit for the Yoga and Strength Training exercises about 3 days a week. I run on my elliptical doing the C25K program (I am finishing week 6 this week) 5+ days a week. I Hula Hoop (not the Wii except for fun) 3 days a week 20-30 minutes a each day. I try and for a Weight Lifting routine about 2-3 times a week.

    I would love to commune with others doing the Wii Fit exercises and see how they are doing and if they like it, etc.

    I have all the Yoga exercises, but still have not earned all the Strength Training exercises (I think I still have 5-6 still to earn).

    6/23 - 40 Minutes Yoga / Strength Training
    6/24 - 45 minutes Yoga / Strength Training

    6/25 - 20 minutes of yoga (before work)

    6/25: 30 mins Cardio/Strength
    6/26: 40 mins Cardio/Strength/a couple yoga moves....I need work on those!

    How's everyone doing?? Do you all do the Body Test every day?
