A chicken recipe for anyone that would care to try.

  • I made this yesterday and if my calorie counter is correct it is approximately 160 kcal. For one person.

    one chicken thigh without the bone, skinless.
    1 tbsp of olive oil
    garlic
    oregano
    pepper


    Cut the chicken thigh to small cubic pieces and lay them in a small clean Pyrex. Add the tbs of olive-oil and massage (yes ladies massage) the chicken meat until it is covered with the oil. Add the seasonics and massage some more. Put it in the oven bake in 225 oC for 20 to 25 minutes. Check on it every one in a while. When it turns crispy red on the outside take the chicken out. It is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Serve it either with boiled rice or in warm pita bread. Delicious.
  • 225 degrees Celsius is 437 or so Fahrenheit in the U.S.

  • Hehe, I insist on the checking though. I think my oven is going slower sometimes and it cooks things more slowly, when at other times is hyperactive. So check it before the 20 minutes pass, just in case.
  • I make whole chickens that way, rubbed with olive oils and spices. Tastes like rotisserie. Mmmmmm.
