I have Jillian's first book, Winning by Losing and I've done the workouts both at home at at the gym. (At home only when I visited my parents for a weekend and didn't have a gym membership.) I certainly see a lot more definition everywhere but my stomach. I think the fat needs to go away for that first. LOL I've been weight training on and off since I was 15 (even with a trainer) so I was fairly strong and had decent muscle mass when I started the program. However, I'm fairly certain that the last time I was at this weight I was not nearly as defined as I am now, especially in my upper body.
One thing I've heard Jillian say time and time again on her radio show is that getting a completely flat stomach is just as much about what you eat as it is about the kinds of exercises you do. I have a friend who's at a perfectly healthy weight and exercises a ton but stopped doing ab work because she thought her stomach actually looked worse. I suggest giving the book a good read through to make sure you're doing everything you need to to get the results you want.
