Hello, my name is Dena. This is my bazillionth "diet" board. I've been overweight for about 6 years now and have recently lost 14lbs. I don't really know what else to say.

Hopefully this will be the "Last" Diet board you will need to join. There's a lot of great support here and good information. Congratulations on the 14 pound loss.

This was actually my first weight loss board and to be honest, my last -- I quit looking when I joined here -- even though I wasn't ready to take charge of my weight loss when I joined, I stuck around because unlike a lot of the other message boards, this one is about our life completely, not just weight loss -- because we all know that our lives don't revolve around our weight.

I actually like the ones I'm currently on. One of them is made up of people I knew before, so its a bit different. But thank you for welcoming me here.
