Jumping in...
Hi all! I'm so happy to have found this site. I only lurked for a day or two and knew this was the place for me. I'm tired of trying to lose this weight alone. I realize I can't do it by myself. I'm not trying any diet plans as of yet. Right now, I'm watching my serving sizes, calories, and trying hard not to 'sneak eat'. Maybe trying these baby steps first will get me to the goals I have further down the road. Before, I'd try to change so many things at once and I'd fail. So baby steps...
A little more about me: I'm in my early 40s, married 22+ years, and have 6 kids ranging in age from 4-21. My husband and I own and run a small business.
Some reasons I want to lose weight are - in no particular order:
*I'm tired of feeling tired.
*I want to stop feeling like crying when I see a pic of myself.
*I want to shop in the same department as my sisters when we go out.
*I want to fit in the rides at amusement parks.
*I want to be able to get affordable health insurance.
All in all, I just want to feel good about myself again. Thanks for reading...
