I am volunteering at a cook-off for work. Our lunch options will be sausage-on-a-stick, popcorn, and cotton candy. I will be out there all day and will need to eat lunch while I am there. I saw in my book that a 1oz sausage link is 3 points. How do I know how big the sausage-on-a-stick is so that I can count points? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
I'd bring a sandwich for sure, you can have two pieces of whole wheat bread, a slice of cheese and a couple ounces of lean turkey or ham for probably less than your sausage on a stick. I love sausage, but it's probably the worst kind of meat you can eat.
whatever you end up doing, have a good time and get back OP if you fall off a bit!
Why not take your own healthy lunch. Sausage on a stick is not a very good choice at all. We have nothing to go by to tell you how many points - how much does the sausage weigh? See what I mean.
