I am on my way out the door to do my walking. I am so determined to lose this weight. I know I can do it. I went walking yesterday, trying to find any excuse in the book but today is a different story. I used to say, well, the baby is sleeping, can't do it......now I can. Just get the baby in the carseat and put it in the stroller and go. The baby will fall asleep out there or when he eats when we come home. I can do it. It's alittle cloudy outside but that's no excuse. I really really want this. I want to be able to turn heads again and make my DH feel proud he is with me.

That is a great way to go about it! That way the baby can have moving scenery to look at too. Keep up the good work!

I do Leslie Sansome walk off the pounds videos cause I can't stand being in the heat of the day, and there are stray dogs in my neighborhood I just love her videos!!! www.lesliesansone.com

Yeah, I used to have her video but we moved then ended up throwing it away because we ended up having only a dvd player. I'm still wanting to get her dvd so I can use it. I like her too.

Hi there I noticed we're about the same height and weight. I just started walking again on monday with a friend. I do enjoy walking outside and it's always easier with a friend. Today it was pouring with rain but it felt good.

I started at about the same weight as you. Walking was my main form of exercise. It is excellent exercise and helped me to reach my goal. I know you can do it too, just keep walking. Those babies will love having the scenery and fresh air. Best wishes for your successful weight loss journey! (BTW, many,many times I took my 3 yr. old and 1 yr. old grandsons along on my walks and they loved it).
