Default points allowed

Does anyone know what the daily allowed points are for a 185lb woman? I am starting WW again after about a year of being off but dont need to go back to the meetings. I have lost my book and want to know if anyone knows how many daily points i would be allowed weighing 185lbs.

Meetings are probably the best thing about WW. I highly recommend you go at least for a start and see if you don't make some new friends and learn lots of stuff besides just how many pts. you're allowed.

Please be careful about what you post and what you ask for, this site is a wonderful resource.

I'm sorry, but I had to delete the post containing the formula for figuring points, since that is Weight Watcher's copyrighted information and the administrators here at 3FC could get sued for using it in that manner.

As Keli says, it's best to sign up with WW to get the info 1st hand. If you can't do that, you may want to consider eBay. I got my materials from there since I could not get to the meetings due to caring for my MIL every day.

I was told that I cannot give word for word info, but I am allowed to talk about the program in my own words. So, I'll tell you how I figured my friend Debbie's points.

She is 41 years old, weighs 210 pounds, and is 5' 5" tall and works as a nursing assistant. So we started with 21, for the first two numbers of her weight. Added was 2 points for being female, 2 points because she's in the age range for that many, 1 point for being in the wide height range, and 2 points for being on her feet a fair portion of the day. Her beginning points number is 28 daily points. All flexers are also allowed 35 extra Flex points weekly. Some weeks she saves them up for a special weekend, other weeks she splits them up to 5 additional points a day, giving her 33 points a day.

Hope this helps.

No problem, Shay. You were only trying to help, and I appreciate that. Plus, it's not often easy to know what's allowed, and what isn't.
