Hi everyone!

  • Hi! My name is Jenn, I'm 26 and recently moved to Fort Walton Beach, FL from St. Louis, MO. I have a 6 month old daughter. I have been on the You on a Diet diet for almost 2 weeks now. I've lost about 2 1/2 inches off my waist so far. I am currently about 168, my goal is 125. It's hard being in a place where you don't know anyone. But, my boyfriend has been supporting me and eating the same foods as me, so he has been a lot of help.

    However, if there is anyone out there that happens to be in my area, I would love an exercise buddy!

    Also...I was checking out the goal pictures and they are so inspiring!

  • I have a similar story... but I'm in Texas. I have a six month old daughter. On a good day I weigh in at 166 (usually 170 though), and my goal is 125. I haven't done much to actually move towards that goal. I'm having trouble finding the inspiration.

  • My first workout buddy has four legs...he is always ready to go for a walk...excited about it, even!! Do you have a dog? A friend with a dog? I found it made me less self concious while walking. Plus my neighborhood isn't really safe for night time walks alone. When the dog isn't available music is a great distraction. Buddies are good, but sometimes they aren't available when you are. Ya gotta find something you can do without a buddy or you'll quit when the buddy quits. I'll stop rambling now and go for a walk.
