Hello everyone!

  • I have been lurking here for months now, and I've (obviously) decided that it's time to delurk. I have made a good amount of progress towards my goal, but lately things have been moving slowly and I'm hoping that some accountability will help me.

    I had actually lost quite a lot of weight in high school and maintained the loss all through college, but last year I got put on some medications that did not agree with me or with each other, and I ballooned up to 233, 20 pounds over my former highest weight in high school. (It was about 80 pounds in 6-7 months, very distressing.) I'm slowly working it back off, and although I am annoyed that I am having to do this all over, I am also hoping that having to do it again I can get down to a lower and more acceptable weight.

    Currently, I am counting calories and running in the mornings (3-5 miles per day, at least 5 days per week). I have not done so well with my calories lately, which is why I'm here, hoping for some accountability.
