I thought It would be cool to have a thread for things that make us feel good either Rewards or when we need comfort that are NOT FOOD CENTRIC!

Today I bought myself a pair of Moisturizing gloves You put hand cream on and put the gloves on for however long. $3.99 and they feel pretty darn good I'm going to wear them under my regular gloves. They are white with Polka Dots and Yes DH made me do "Jazz Hands"

I'm also Knitting a hug for my gf who's going through a tough time its yellow Marino wool (From Brooklyn Sheep! Yo Yo) and its super soft and fuzzy
Yay Feel good stuff!
And Prevention is always good inspiration for this girl!

One thing I definitely do when I need comfort is come "see" you all! Wouldn't have gotten this far without you (Sappy Ain't I!)

at this point, my main pleasures are a weekly massage. regular pedicures. valium.

Umm.
Hearing a cheerful voice on the other end of the line.
Listening to interesting stories from interesting people.
Going to the ballet (and pretending like I can afford it).
Clean sheets, Clean bedding (no doggy hair).
This is bad, but . . . getting on the scale and watch the new, lower number pop up.
Thanksgiving!

Oh! Oh!
And getting funny emails from friends that have cute pictures of doggies and kitties.
And thanksgiving! (it really is my favorite holiday.)

I'm grateful for my DH, who is a saint, people. If I was him I would have killed me to put me out of my whinning misery by now! LOL! I'm grateful for hand warmers you can put in your pockets, wool socks and SF hot cocoa. I wore my first dressing over ten years this morning to church. The jumper was $5.99 from Goodwill, shirt $8.88 from Walmart, slip (ridiculous) $27.00 from Catherines and nylons for $7.50 and sitting beside me, my sweet little granddaughter was priceless!

Other happinesses:
Friends and family getting together with no stress. Bed warmed up with doggies. Seeing movies (at the actual theaters) that are dreamy and silly (Enchanted).
Also, coming on here and talking with you lovely gals!

A massage. I would love to get a massage some day. Always wanted one!
Right now a pedicure is something that makes me feel so good and feminine. Oh, I love to get on the scales and see the needle go down one more notch. So satisfying. My neighbor children who run and hug my legs anytime they see me outside in the front yard. Makes my heart sing. Also my feel good pill every day. Makes for a lovely day. LOL.
Getting my hair done at the salon weekly and having my hubby say I look nice. Makes my old heart flutter still.
I love to walk into a department store and smell the cosmetic counters. They have a smell to them that when you walk in, it is wonderful. Perhaps it is all that perfume they spray on people and you. I love it.
A clean house and a good dog.
I guess I could go on and on but need to give you all a chance also. LOL.
