  • Just curious! If you have reached goal and are a WW maintainer, please raise your hand
  • Suzanne, I'm a lifetimer who's relosing. Does that count? My hand is halfway up.
  • I reached Lifetime in 1992. I have a few pounds to get back to my goal weight.
  • I have my hand halfway up as well. I'm on the way and planning on being a maintainer soon! I can't wait to be able to say I'm a lifetime member at goal. Hopefully in a couple months. I got my lifetime in the 90s as well and kind of gave up on it until I came up with a new years resolution that stuck. Looking forward to hearing from Lifetime maintainers.
  • Well heck...............I am a lifetime WW member, too, but 4 pounds over goal.
  • Suzanne, from what I'm seeing here--we need you and 3FC. Thank you for providing us this wonderful spot to meet and help each other.
  • Made lifetime in 1977 and have maintained pretty much since then. Doing CORE now.
  • Lifetime
I've been a Lifetime Member for two years and have maintained my weight loss. At present time, I'm under goal weight.

    Susan
  • I made lifetime in 2002, gained back, and just re-lost. This time its for good. No way I'm going through all that again!
  • Although I usually don't post in the WW forum, tomorrow will be one year as a WW maintainer. I'm 11 pounds below my WW goal.
  • So you ARE out there We noticed how few members there are in our WW Lifetime/Maintainers forum and it was kind of scary to think there are just 3 or 4 people here that have been successful with WW. Do you think it's helpful to have a dedicated forum for maintaining on WW? Is there some reason why more people don't post there?
  • I made lifetime 3 years ago but am presently 5# over my goal weight after being 5-10# under my goal most of that time. Thanks, menopause.
I'll have to check out that forum. I guess the posts there never catch my eye.
  • So, I'm NOT a lifetimer yet, but I have questions about how that works. Do you lose the weight, maintain for a period of time, then you're just considered a lifetimer? And you don't have to pay fees at that point, correct? If you regain the weight and want to lose it again, is membership still free?
  • You get to your weight watchers goal, or a goal set by your doctor. You maintain for 6 weeks and weigh in at no more than 2 lbs. over your goal. That's achieving lifetime. You need to weigh in once a month at no more than 2 lbs. over your goal and weight watchers is free. If you gain more and need to come back and lose it is a lower rate but not free. That's what I know, also if you're at your goal weight and they change the program materials you are entitled to a free set of the new materials. Probably some things are unique to your meeting.
  • OK, I'm checking in with my hand half way up as well! I reached my WW goal last week, so according to them I'm now in my 6 weeks of practicing maintenance. The WW goal and MY goal are two different numbers, however! So, half way up as I still have 8 pounds to go to reach my own goal!
