Hi everyone! I got this website from Woman's world magazine, story about amanda. I really like the looks of her diet. have been trying to "south beach" but feel so defeated after awhile. The menus in the magazine looked pretty good. Finding some new friends for encouragement and inspiration is a great idea too!

I'm glad you liked the menus of mine the magazine published...I post on here ALL THE TIME with new ideas, and so many of the ideas in the magazine were based on other things I had read here.

Nice to know there is such a great community for support. Mandalinn, I am going to check out your posts, I need more menu ideas. Ihave started my grocery list and menu ideas. I think I need structure. FYI to everyone, PeaPod from Stop & Shop (East coast store) is a delivery service where you shop online and they deliver and bring into the house. The delivery fees are minimal and I know it helps me so that I don't get the munchies in the store and overbuy or buy things I shouldn't. peapod.com if you want to check it out.

My name is Lanie and I am 70lbs. overweight. I have never had a weight problem until my thyroid messed up. Now nothing I seem to do helps. I was thinking of trying the South Beach diet. If anyone has any advice on this diet and how to deal with hypothyroidism please let me know. Thanks so much.
