being honest, mostly with myself

  • I gained a few pounds and had been refusing to change my ticker. But today I decided to add in the gain to it, so I can be realistic with myself. Just wanted to post on here to keep myself honest and to work to re-lose those pounds I gained!!!

I am still determined to lose those 15 pounds by October 1st!!! Here's hoping I didn't overindulge too much to ruin that goal.
  • Good for you, Cat! I know it's hard to change your ticker to ADD weight, but you will be lowering it soon enough. Good luck making your october 1st goal!
  • Ugh, i hate adding to the ticker. my ticket is STUCK at 180-182!! Drives me insane! But keep at it. Whats goes up must come down!!
  • I just did that this morning, too. I put on 4 pounds and have generally been avoiding the scale so I didn't have to face up to it. Well, I have and I'm moving forward with my weight loss. Good for you for doing it, too!
  • For all of you,

    Jay
  • Very honest, very brave!

    Go, Cat, Go!

  • We are here for you CAT to make sure you have the support you need for those #15!
  • Thanks everyone! I got off my arse today and ran a bit then tonight I walked a mile and a half. I still made some not so great food choices but I am doing better. I need to cook more at home and the weight would melt off me!
  • Good for you. I know its hard for us all to up the number when we slip up. It will come down!!
  • good for you!! being honest really is important to this whole thing. I had to move mine back as well a while ago and finally I got to move it down again. You CAN do this!!
  • I do think being brutally honest is essential in dealing with our weight. Afterall, we simply can not change what we don't acknowledge.

Great going for owning up to it. And good luck getting that number to slide back down. You'll do it. Absolutely. Positively. Without a doubt.
  • Down a pound now (Friday is my weigh in) so I am sure a lot of that weight is salt and junk that needed to process out of my body!

Off to eat a healthy breakfast and take a walk!
