Isn't it amazing how fast weekends go by? It was a great one, though, and I hope you all had a good one, too.
I'm off to Curves this morning, and then go pick up Audrey and Maggie from their grandparent's house where they spent the weekend. We'll probably have to do a little grocery shopping for milk, bread, etc., and then I know the girls are expecting to bake today. We always reserve rainy days for cooking. Maybe we'll make some banana bread as a "welcome home" for Cindy. She'll be getting in around 3 this afternoon.
Cottage, have fun at Curves! Baking is always fun on a rainy day..eating it is even better!
Nothing exiting going on here..headed off to get ready for school and happy we dodged the bullet with Dean, but sad for those in it's path. We are supposed to start getting rain again today and we need it desperately. Can't believe I'm saying that after all the storms everyday this summer, but after 2 weeks of no rain, it's getting VERY dry here.
Cottage Have a fun day with the girlies. I am smelling the bread baking already.
Femme Have a good day at school!
Me- Back to work today, just wanted to check in quickly before I get ready. I am showered, did my Bible study, now need to get the girls up. I am prepared for tears this morning, let me tell you!
Morning Ladies! Waiting to see if my walking buddy is going to show this morning. Then a telecon at 9, packing for my trip, mortgage closing at noon, and I leave for the airport at 1. I'll be glad to get to Dallas tonight and relax.
Happy baking cottage!
Have a good day at school Kiko and femme!
Got to make a doctor's appointment this morning too. I think I might have eczema on my hands. Yuck, and it hurts.
Morning everyone..
I'm back to work..yuk...:-(
Had fun at the Cape yesterday (actually last night)...my SIL and family have a house for the week right across from the beach...it's just gorgeous. Wish we could have stayed for the week with them..oh well..
I'm getting myself ready to dive into SB again...just re-familiarizing (is that a word?) with everything.
Have a great day everyone..
Morning Ladies! They are calling for possible rain here today, sure hope so, my yard is a dust pit!
Cottage have fun today, banana bread sounds wonderful!!
Cat and Kiko have a good day at school!
Schmoodle sounds like a busy day hope you get to relax this evening.
Di good luck starting over!
Me - work as usual, good thing being I really knocked some stuff out friday and came into a clean slate today. Get to focus on what I do best, closing loans!
Having trouble with these last couple of pounds, really fighting with them is more like it! OK so pizza hut (it was the kids idea I swear) didn't help! Time to buckle down!
Good Morning Girls,
Well another Monday morning, why is it so hard to get up every Monday? Cottage The banana bread sounds wonderful.
Femme Have a gread day at school!
Kiko I can remember those tears, enjoy them now, I know it is hard to, but when they get older they can't wait to get away from you. Of course the tears turn around and you are the one with them.
Schmoodle Have a safe flight today.
didi123 I have never seen the Cape, would love to someday.
Pacer You can lose those last few pounds.
I have been doing great on this program. Yesterday was the first day I really had a hard time satisifying my sweet tooth, but I made it thru the day. I think when I stress or get bored, I start thinking about food. I really need to just get myself up and do something. My 18 year old daughter was so upset yesterday. We went to the mall to buy jeans for her, we went to almost every store there and she couldn't find any to fit. They are all to big, we are talking size 1. She then called her dad crying, so he picked her up later and took her to a different mall to look. She finally found some size 1 short. What a problem to have. I do think no matter if you are small or big, jeans and pants are almost impossible to fit. Have a great day girls.

Good morning all!
Well, I hit another plateau I think it's the meds. They are supposed to cause weight gain - which I haven't had - Thank g*d! But I haven't been dropping like I was either. I haven't been dropping at all! But I guess I'm not gaining, so that's a plus.
Busy day at work for me. I've got one project head leaving, and have to help train her replacement... Oh joy!!!! NOT!!! LOL
I'm already late for a meeting, so I've got to run. Hope everyone has a great day on the Beach!
Aargh monday! I am going in late to work bc I have a dentist appointment..great way to start the week. A broken filling!!
I am still working on my plateau. This is really getting ridiculous. South Beach Gods, help me!!!!
Ok I gotta get up get fed and get going. Hope you all have a great OP day!!
Sonja
Cottage: Hope you've had a great workout and that you have a fun day of baking with the girls!
femme: Could you send some rain our way when ya'll are done with it? Hope your day at school is a blast!
Kiko: Hope you have a great day and that there won't be too many tears!
Schmoodle: Sounds like you sure are busy today! I hope everything goes well for you~
didi: I'm with you on the re-familiarizing! I just need to see if I can find the person who borrowed my book!
pacer: You're doing a great job - I've heard that those last few lbs are ALWAYS the hardest!
stitch: I had the same problem in high school. 1's were too big and 0's were too small. We always ended up having to go to tons of stores before finding them! Good deal that she was able to find some!
mare: I'm so envious that you aren't gaining on your meds. It doesn't seem like I'm ever able to keep from gaining on meds! Hope your plateau breaks soon!
Sonja: Sorry about your tooth. I hope it's not painful! Hope that plateau breaks soon!
ME: First, an update on BFF. She had three surgeries while I was in SA, one on Sat and one scheduled for today. All of them have been to repair her fistula or to establish another means for administering dialysis. She'll be in for at least another week, maybe two. She's getting better, but she is emotionally drained and ready to be home.
The family was all here this weekend and we had a blast! I sent them back home this morning before work. They were able to see DH getting baptized Sunday morning and I was so happy about that! I really love being with my family.
I am not doing well at all SB-wise. I gained last week and TOM came and reared its ugly head! I started P1 again today and am committed to sticking with it for the full two weeks. I was shocked to see enough SB-friendly stuff in the kitchen to last me until grocery shopping tomorrow evening. I worked out a little in SA, but will get back to training on Wednesday. I'm ready to nip this weight in the bud! My dad is a great inspiration to me as he's lost 30 lbs since I saw him in May. He looks great! He's mostly done it through exercise and calorie-reduction!
Well, I've got a stack on my desk to get to - I'll check in later ladies!

Hi, ladies! The weekend went too fast. That's the problem with working half the weekend. I'm primary on call starting this morning so I'm hoping it won't be too bad but expecting it will. Six of my friends at work are moving to the next building. The candy jar moves with them. That will be a very good thing for me.
Hi chicks, I've arrived safely in Dallas, yuck it's hot down here! We're having a cold spell now, it was 71 degrees when I left Baltimore this afternoon. Just ate some chili from Wendy's and part of a BLT chicken salad. The salad was pretty good. Without the croutons and dresssing, it's pretty SB friendly, chicken, greens, tomatoes, cucumbers, bacon, and cheese. Of course, the bacon isn't good, the cheese is full fat (but not much of it), and who knows what they do to the chicken (not much of that either). Hit the spot, I was sooo hungry. Tomorrow I'll go by the grocery store and probably eat in the hotel room the rest of the trip. That's the easiest way to stay OP, plus I've got lots of work to keep me busy in the evenings.
Hi Barb, hope they leave you alone today. Kim, so glad to hear your friend is doing better!
Hang in there Sonja and iammare, I haven't really hit a plateau yet, it must be very frustrating, but the chicks say that it will pass. Di, a week at the beach sounds wonderful! Pacer, good for you, I wish I could get my desk cleared off, but it's been a while since I've seen the surface! Must feel nice! bk, I've been craving some sweets this past week (TOM). I found some diet cocoa in the cabinet, and boy, did that do the trick! I brought a couple of packets with me and I think I'll make one up in a bit. Seems wierd to be drinking cocoa in August, but it's "mmm, chocolate..."
Well, I think I'll surf for a while, work for a while, drink some cocoa, read, unpack... Probably won't sleep, the first night in a hotel I never do.
