HI all!!

My name is Laura. I've been married 35 years come August. We have four children and four grandchildren. Oct. last year I was put on high blood pressure medication - decided I'd better get a handle on things, for hubby was put on diabetic meds a couple years ago. Figured the writting was on the wall now!!!! So, I joined LAWL cause doing it on my own sure wasn't working!! Since joining in Feb., I've lost 32 pounds, AND, I'm about to get off the hbp meds!!!!

I'm hoping to learn new things, get encouragement, and give it too.

Hi Laura, Yeah for you! 35 lb. is awsome, and getting off the BP ;meds are even better! If your husband is a type 2 diabetic he will probably be able to get off the meds too. Diet and exercise can eleminate the need for a lot of ailments. Do you exercise too?
