Lets say your range is 22-29, you may choose to eat say 23, thereby banking 6 points. Lets say you do this for two days in a row, now you have 12 banked points. On the third day you go out for a big lunch...you may use 10 of those banked points, so on that day you eat 39 points.
You may not use more than 10 banked points in one day,
you may not carry them over week to week
You should not eat lower than your minimum, but once a leader told me you could on occaision but never, never go below 18 points for a day.
