Then the next thursday came and .... I had put on 2kg I am now at 77kg and I dont know what to do with myself I am 4 weeks in and not ready to give up but I am missing the point of why I am dieting now I am running out of healthy foods to eat when everyone around me is at MacDonalds.
The working out has completly stoped I spent 3 weeks doing 30 mins of walking a day now NOTHING.
I am planning to get the 8 miniute work out and do that twice a day because I know this week is breaking point.
If anyone has any ideas for recipes, motevation ect....

  • Hey girl, good to see you back again.

Well, what can I say to help motivate you? Lessee...

If you go back to eating McD's, you'll gain more weight. That's not something you want to do, is it???

Do you have a plan that you're following to help you lose weight? A program, a book, something like that? That can help you know what to do when you're out of ideas and inspiration. Even just writing down in advance what you plan to eat for the day can be helpful--you may not stick to it exactly, but at least you have a direction.

You are young and strong, and activity is good for you! Don't think of it as exercise, think of it as having fun instead. The 8 minute workout sounds good! Walking is a great activity also! Try to get back into that.

Your body will go in whatever direction you send it--either bigger or smaller--it's up to you! But it's much easier to lose excess fat and get your weight under control now than it will be later on, so take advantage of that!

    Good luck!

    Jay
  • If you can't face a formal plan, you could try committing to a couple of healthy things instead. For example, you could try committing to eating 4-5 servings of fruits and veggies a day. Sometimes when you think of goals in small committments like this, it's easy to move back into an overall healthy way of eating. Your 8-minute exercise routine sounds like a good idea, too.
  • It sound to me that you haven't found what works for you yet. I did lots of searching for 20 years before my head got in the right place. I will never go back to the person I was. I started January 10th of this year. I read YOU on a diet and after coming here read SuperFoods Rx. Those 2 books and this site changed my life. I am not saying the same will happen to you but why not give it a try. What do you have to lose? Weight
Remember the eating and exercise are only 1/2 of what has to change. Your brain has do some changing too. I hope you get to that point. Good luck.
