This is a little off topic, but I'm just shocked, happy, scared and excited! So I've been working retail for FAR too long, I am good at it and so I've continued on. Last year I hired with a decent company, but was basically hired as a peon. I went from Assistant Store Manager to part time photo counter person, quite the drop. Anyways! I decided to go for an interview for a position I really wasn't qualified for, and ended up getting it! I am going from peon to Assistant Cosmetics Manager - getting a 5-7/hr raise (they are still deciding on the exact dollar amount), and am going to be getting some nice benefits (mostly I just want sick days!). It's amazing to work for a company that actually CARES about its employees, and appreciates me. I start training July 16th Don't even get me STARTED on the training - I'm actually getting training, every other company I've worked for hasn't trained me, I've always had to figure it out on my own. Life is feeling pretty good these days I really just had to share all of this good news!!

Thanks everyone!! I really feel like going outside and yelling it out to everyone, hehe. I feel like I'm making a career, and my life is just going to change SO much I can't even explain it! Yah, just crazy, heh.
