  • Hi Fawnie,

I'm pretty new here myself and haven't hit a plateau yet. Have you tried a 2 mile walk per day? More movement seems to work for lots of people.
  • I work out for an hour atleast 3-4 times a week thats why I am getting so frustrated as well.
  • Take a deep breath and

The scale stayed plateaued for me for basically 3 months straight. I say the scale because I lost 11 inches and 2 sizes in the same time period. Obviously losing isn't always about the number on the scale.

Are you mixing up your exchanges? Eating five to six mini meals a day? Being active? Those are exactly the pointers that the LA dietician will give you. If you post up your diary, I'm sure us vetrans will be great with pointers on how to change things up.

Afterall, we seem to know more than some COD's.
  • Hi,
I am wondering what plan you are on? It will help us with suggestions. I plateaued for 4 weeks when I had lost 20 lbs. That represented a 10% loss of my body weight and I have read that others have had the same problem. There seems to be an adjustment period before the body moves on to lose more weight. Everyone here is more than willing to share their learned expertise. I keep learning and changing things to see what works for me. Right now, I am cutting my LA lite bars in half so that I have 4 servings a day to space things out. I am on gold and I since I have only two proteins I move them around and sometimes, like today, I had them for breakfast and lunch and then had my dairy serving (yogurt) for my evening meal.

  • Fawn.. What are you consuming after your workouts??

I just started with a PT and he told me that you HAVE to consume some protein and carbs immediatly after a workout to help your body recover and replace the stuff you used up. Something simple like an orange along with some chicken is what he suggested..

That way, your body stays balanced, promoting weightloss..
