Default Got a discount....wasn't too bad
After asking questions on this site and researching LAWL, I was really interested in signing up but was afraid of the price. I had a meeting this morning and after learning more about the program, I really wanted to join. I braced myself for the answer when I asked....how much?....Well, it was more than I was wanting to spend due to the fact that I have three kiddo's in college beginning September and it will take everything we have to save for tuition. I asked about any specials coming up, so she went to check with someone and LUCKY ME she gave me a 50% discount. She said a new promotion was about to start but she would go ahead and let me take advantage of it since I asked. How lucky can a person be? So anyone who is thinking about joining, it never hurts to ask...so always ask.

Welcome Carrie, and congrats on the discount. Like you say ... asking sure can't hurt. Worst thing is they can say no. This is a great site, and you will find lots of support here. Join in on the friends and losers thread. Like Val, I have become addicted to this site as well.

Shannon, I also see that you have an 18 yo son that you enjoy watching play sports. Me too. He is my baby even though he is over 6' ha...ha. I'm going to miss watching him play football and run track. I don't know what I'll do when he leaves for college. I'm due for a grandson in September, so hopefully that will keep me busy so I won't miss him too much.

Mine played soccer forever, football a couple high school years and Lacrosse the remainder of high school. I loved it. I have NO idea how I'll pass the time now. Maybe I'll make him sign up for adult leagues . Once he goes off to college I'm sure he'll get into intramural but that will be too far for me to drive to see. BLAST!
