    It's that time again... Everybody JOIN in on another monthly challenge we've all grown to know and love! Summer is here! Time for water sports!

    Set your own fitness goals.
    You can join in at ANY time.

  • Yay! I just joined the site yesterday and I've been waiting for a June challenge to pop up. Perfect!
    My goals this month are to:
    1. Cut down TV watching to one hour a day.
    2. Exercise plan: 180 min cardio (mostly jogging outdoors) per week, 2 yoga classes a week
    3. Food: more fruits/veggies, less carbs...I will have to figure out a way to make this a concrete goal rather than the vague "more" and "less," but I detest counting numbers about food intake...
    4. Lose 10 lbs.

    My goal is to exercise at least 5 days per week, try and cut out bread and other trigger foods that cause me to cheat and not stick to my plan. And I'm hoping to do alot of biking when the weather gets nicer!

    My goals for June are.
    1) Continue with the quitting smoking. (On Day 9)
    2) Drink more water.3) Eat more Veggies/Fruit, and less "bad" carbs.
    4) Keep up the good work with exercising.
    5) Try to lose 10lbs.

    June 1: 1 hour of playing Dance Dance Revolution.
    June 2: Been going through a, erm, weird time lately. I don't know how long I've exercised in the past week or so, but I have been working out..too much..actually. Playing DDR & going on the treadmill. I don't really know what to put. But, today..I didn't really over work myself too much..so..I'll put that down below..

    June 10: 300 Calories playing DDR, and 0.50 Running at 4.5 on the treadmill & about 15-25 minutes of crunches, etc..and lifting some weights.

  • Oooh, June goals. I've been thinking about these a lot over the past few days...

    I guess I undershot my May goal for fitness, as I achieved it 3 weeks in. I'm still hesitant to ramp up the numbers a lot though, so I'll set a goal of 45 minutes daily this month, which comes to a total of 1350.

    I also want to spend 30 min outdoors everyday. This will be tough for me, I lack motivation for activities outside... But for the month of June I don't care if I'm walking down the block, or sitting on a park bench, I want to be outside every day.

    I want to start the C25K program in June too. I'll be fitting it into my exercise goal.

    And I'm also going to try my hand at 20 min of meditation daily... Hopefully this will help to relax me.

    So my totals for goals are:

  • This is exciting. I am pretty new and I have been looking for challenges. By the end of June I want to loose 10 pounds. I want to exercise faithfully which will include running/biggestlooser dvd/ yoga. I want to do a little each day. I am def in. I am gonna make Sunday my off day.
