woohooo! finally a first post..its been a while. I've been sleeping in way too much because i was sick. But i'm finally feeling good again. Actually at work now as we speak..but its very slow. Probably not such a bad thing since last night was insane. Work was very crazy and had an emergency surgery come in about 2 hrs prior to closing. It wasn't too bad of a surgery. So that was good. Otherwise i'm good. Trying to get back into the swing of things since i was sick. After work today i will finally go out and see the horse for a nice ride and then take the dog for a long walk.

Sheila - glad to hear you put those boobs to work...my girls are good for that sometimes too...lol
kerri - sorry to hear about DH. I will keep you guys in my thoughts. Hang in there.

Busy weekend worked outside all day. tired.

Kerri; I am so sorry about your DH and the situation with Grandma. It is too bad that his mother has to stoop that low to be noticed. That is what I think only an opinion. My aunt is dying and my folks have been driving since Thursday to get to Michigan and hardly call they are too busy stopping at casinos. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

GG; Hey lady glad you are on the mend. Hopefully it will stay that way, You think maybe you have had too much stress here lately.

Sheila...i know i had too much stress. I'm a person who rarely gets sick. And i think with all that happened last week my body just gave out. But i'm definately feeling healthy again...and the stress is def. less.

Ok, is it really bad that I rearranged my work schedule so I could go see Pirates of the Carribean when it opens??? I am so obsessed. I have watched the trailer at least 20 times. Well, it opens on my birthday (and who wants to work until 9pm on their birthday??) and I intend to treat myself. Aaarrrggghh.

GG- glad you're back to your old self. Stress really can do a number on the body, huh?

Thanks for everyone's kind words about DH. MIL sent me a b-day card today (in AZ). What a croc!

hi every one!
I am back from L.A. I had a great time! the baby is sooooo cute, boy am I glad I don't have an infant, we were up almost all night. So no I didn't get much rest, LOL. but it was great to see my best friend, she looks so tired, but I never seen her so happy. I was going to stay until tomorrow but her DH came home from Japan this afternoon. I really missed Sean and DH, and I was only gone for one night, wow!

Michelle are you OK, did you find the $$. Your daughter is a lucky gal to have you, and helping her with the baby, it is so hard work, specially when they are so little. You have to watch them all the time

Kerri that is too bad about your mother in law, she sounds just like my mother a royal b*t*h, I will keep you guys in my prayers, has DH seen a doctor, it may not be a bad idea, there is good stuff out there and it can really make a difference. Hopefully you guys will be able to be under the same roof every day very soon

I am going to bed! I am exhausted! I want to be rested to spend the day with DH and my DS are going to go for a walk on the beach and have a nice lunch at a very good restaurant with ocean views.
I do love my family, even thus it is hard, I really needed to be away and get refreshed :happy:

kerri - hang in there. I think you should rearrange your schedule. It is you b-day after all. Go for you. Sounds like with all the stuff you have been going thr (DH) you should treat yourself. Enjoy and let me know how it was. I never go to movies opening night...LOL

alright guys...dh and i had a nice sleep in this am..i think we both needed it. Then he made me breakfast..and to top it off...he made a brisket yesterday that's been cooking all day. So hey got to love DH who enjoys cooking (even if brisket isn't the lowest fat food....i'll just work out harder. He's going to help me today do some work to my horse trailer (the tow chains have to be replaced) and he's going to help me do a lameness evaluation on my horse (think he has a slight hip injury??). So i'm definately knowing i married the right guy right now. What man would like to continuously trot a horse for 15-20 minutes LOL. Alright guys...have a beautiful day. Bye all!!!!!!

I guess all the crappy stuff going on last week with me was my darn PMS, I didn't even realize it, but I do get it really bad, and I was kind of out there this week totally loony, and I hate I am so lucky hubby is such a great guy, he puts up with it, I don't know how we have been able to get thru it for so long, it does get really bad The Dr. had put me on birth control pills to control the mood swings that I have during PMS but the pill didn't really do much, it worked for about 3 months and then it didn't, this has happened to me in the past and the bad part about the pill is I get heavier and I am working to hard to loose the weight only to go on the pill and put a few Lbs. on and I am not talking about just 2 or 3. I need to go to my OBG and see if he has any other suggestions, if a hysterectomy will help I am all for it, I know it is a hard thing to go thru but I am not going to have babies, we already did all the infertility treatments 8 yrs. ago and as you know we ended up adopting, even if I could get prego right now, I WOULDN'T want to anyway it is kind of an understatement. It could also be PMDD, I guess is a new diagnosis for severe PMS. I have to go to the OBG this week!!!!

GG you have a great hubby too, enjoy the food! how nice that you can both work on the horse and the trailer together, enjoy your time together. what is happening with the house? is your sis going to take the horse?

Hey Guys.

I forgot to tell you that I'm in TX this week! We came to visit my family, we are at my GM's right now. The trip has been OK except for the hotel last night. It was bad enough that we got our room for free!

Can't post much, GM has dial-up and we are waiting for the baby to wake up to go eat (not that that has anything to do with the dial-up!). I will catch up when we get to the new hotel tonight or tomorrow!

Hello everyone!

Its been a crazy past week - my son was sick with a cold, and woke 5 nights in a row, Friday he woke 4 times during the night - It is a combination of night terrors and being uncomfortable with blocked nose and coughing.

This weekend I drove down the coast to visit a friend who was having a handbag party - got a really nice black bag too. On Sunday -I weeded the garden and planted some pansies. Also went to Gloria Jeans with my mum for a coffee, Liam has finally slept through the last 2 nights but I feel exhausted from a week of sleepless nights - how did I do it when he was little? LOL
