    sit-down restaurants with family or friends instead of in-car fast-food binges alone

    form-fitting sweaters and skirts instead of baggy, drapy shirts and pants

    biking to the store instead of driving across the street in my car

    vegetable-intensive lunches from home instead of greasy sandwiches and fries from the grill

    water instead of Diet Coke

    1% milk in my coffee instead of half-n-half or nondairy creamer

    size 18 instead of size 24

    exercise buddies instead of eating buddies
  • I second the exercise buddies instead of eating buddies! That's probably my favorite change so far!

    Instead of full-fat cheese, 2% milk cheese

    Instead of full-fat vanilla steamers, non-fat, sugar free vanilla steamers

    Instead of feeling lethargic and tired, feeling full of energy and HAPPY

    Instead of sandwiches, salads

    Instead of potatoes, green beans

    Instead of sleeping in, exercising

    Instead of 169 lbs, 148 lbs!
