Default Well, it's Wednesday Chat!

Half the week is nearly gone. How are we doing?

I'm dragging a bit but have had half a grapefruit, a slice of ww toast and peanut butter and am off to my workout. I'll figure out the rest of my day when the endorphins kick in. Right now I'm feeling draggy with a 4.3 BGL. The toast will take care of that.

How's your day shaping up? I'll be back later.

Another beautiful spring day is shaping up! We finally got our sun back around noontime yesterday, so the day ended up on a good note.
This morning I have a load of laundry in the dryer already, paid some bills, went to Curves, and have Salsa Chicken in the crockpot for supper. I want to do a little yard work before I leave to get Maggie, and I really should get around to putting out some Grubex, if it's not too late already.
That's about it in my exciting life! What's happening in yours today?

Hey Chicks,
Happy hump day! I think everyone is dragging a little today. Usually there are a ton of post by the time I start responding. Just a quick check in today. I'm off to do my daily chores. Take care everyone and good luck staying OP.

Woke up to a beautiful, sunny morning after lots of rain and thunder last night. Makes it so much easier to be motivated (as does this cup of coffee in front of me)!

My staff meeting last night went well - - lots of scheudling and other non-fun things were on the agenda as we approach the end of the school year. Thankfully we got through stuff quickly and without pain!

Scott has been on the road this week (he audits nursing homes) and will get home tonight. Which will be nice , we have not seen mych of each other with me out of town over the weekend and him gone the first part of the week.

More interviews today at work - for grad positions. I was hoping to sit out this year, but no such luck, one more thing to add to a busy week.

Have a great Wednesday!
Ally

Gorgeous day here! I just went outside to see that a water hyacinth in my sugar kettle pond is blooming!
School was canceled today, so I have the morning off (kinda..still have work for my clients, but nothing that is a rush) So I am headed out to work in the garden. We are having a party here on the patio Sunday afternoon, so the yard needs to be perfect and it's the perfect day to pull weeds and put down new mulch to spruce things up. I got some new mosquito barrier the other day and not a bug to be found, so that will make working outside a pleasure.
I just pulled out some shrimp from the freezer to grill for dinner, will work in the garden a bit, then head in for breakfast. Life is good today.

Looks like everyone is having the same morning as me. Not much to report and weather looks pretty good. Yesterday my housekeeper came and my grass was mowed...so that was nice.

Last night we had a twighlight breakfast here at the University from 8-10:30 for our students taking finals. A lot of us faculty and staff volunteered to serve breakfast and have fun with our students. I had a really good time and didn't leave till after 10.

I need to get some stuff done today at work and I am gearing up for a mini-reunion this Saturday with people from my highschool. Our school no longer exists (consolidation) and several of us from different classes that have reconnected via MySpace are getting together. I am looking forward to that.

Anyway...gonna jet and get some work done

Have a lovely day

Morning chicks I am soooo jealous of all of you that have it is cloudy and damp here with the threat of raining again. It is sooo depressing. I can't get out in the yard cause it is too cold.

Other than my whinning about the weather not much is going on, did a little tiding up and got three bags of stuff ready for dd's school yard sale, they are raising money for their Quebec trip and for there prom. She has her last cheerleading comp this weekend and she is pumped.

One more week and I am off to Halifax with oldest dd for her dance comp, can't wait to get away for 5 days, just the girls. With lots of dancing, shopping and eating. I am going to try my best to be really good, with 15 pounds now gone I don't want to come back with a gain. I may pack my scales just to make sure I stay on track.

Well must dash and put some music on for the boys it is dance time for them. Have a great day.

Yum...shrimp on the barbie...sounds delicious, Femme! Have some for me.

Today is work as usual. Good news is that we do have an offer on our house...and, maybe, another one coming in today. House hunting traffic has really picked up and we are hoping to sell our house and move within the next couple of months. I had an off-plan dinner last night and didnt get all of my water in for the day. Today, I back on track 100%. I'm very motivated to get as many inches off of this body as I possibly can before we move.

Hope everyone has a great on-plan day.

I blew off the district committee meeting last night and stayed for all of our den meeting instead. It was the last den meeting of the school year and they needed my help to time and measure boys for the Athlete activity pin. Besides, I'm not happy with the lack of support I am getting right now on Twilight Camp. I will get back to working on Twilight Camp on Monday after I am back from Wood Badge.

I'm WFH today to get ready for Wood Badge. I leave after I drop Brian off tomorrow at school. It looks like it will be a bit wet but I'm sure it will be fun anyway. At least it won't be cold.

Too bad today wasn't the first. My weight is down 3 pounds from yesterday which would have meant a loss for April rather than a gain. Oh, well, I'm eating good today and I'll be doing some hiking at Wood Badge so that at least is some exercise.

Well, I started the day optimistic but it's not going too great. Food-wise I'm on track, but today is the second anniversary of my mom's death and I'm feeling more and more blue as the day goes on. I'm trying not to let that be an excuse for bad food choices (normally it would be) and I'm trying to keep my chin up.

I hope the day finds you all well!

Talking Hello Ladies...

I just wanted to say hello... I'm back on South Beach and somehow I missed this SB thread completely when I've been posting on other threads! I think this will be very helpful because I've been slipping alot lately.

Carynm, so sorry to hear you're having a rough day.

Things here have been pretty hectic today. My kiddos and I went to see a production of Narnia at a local theatre. It was wonderful.

Today is day 3 of ph 1 for me and I'm totally staying OP! I kind of feel like crap though - it's the first 3 days on SB thing, so I know it'll pass. I'm definitely not hungry like I was yesterday. Yesterday was ROUGH!

I didn't get any exercise in yesterday, but I ate well and drank lots of water.

Well...off to do history and science with my older two, while my little one naps (we homeschool).

Hope everyone's having a wonderful day!
