Really, it is strange the things that we see as accomplishments like that isn't it? Has anyone else had any other different accomplishments besides just going down in dress sizes?
I've definitely noticed more energy throughout the day. I didn't think that I felt that bad before, but since I've lost a little weight, it makes me realize how bad and unhealthy I've felt for a long time.
I've also noticed how much easier it is to keep up with my nephew. When I used to take him to the park, I'd play for a little while, and then have to just sit and watch. Now when we go I'm able to play with him. I've found out that I love tube slides. I was afraid to go down them for so long. Now it's great. Swings come in a close second. I love the feeling of flying. I just love playgrounds and having the energy to enjoy them!!
Since I started really hitting the gym and eating healthy, I now have more energy to do stuff and not become tired. I also tend to go out a lot more and just -do- things. Before, I rather stay at home and just bum out on the computer. I agree that its not just the dress size. Right now I am more confident about myself and happier too.
I don't know if it counts as an accomplishment or not but there's something about exercising and losing weight that gives me a positive feeling. Like a nice bouncy start to the day.
shockingp
I can carry the groceries up the five flights of steps I need to without huffing an puffing... I don't get as many backaches as I use to either...Overall I have a lot more energy and overall feel better. :-)
