Question Anyone having success on the Wendie plan?

I was intrigued by the Wendie plan sticky note above and I was just wondering if anyone is currently doing this and having good success. I have yet to hit a plateau, but if this is effective, then why not?

It still seems like a TON of food on the SHD, but it does make sense to me. I have had weeks where I have been out of town or a special occasions and have splurged within my flex points, but splurged nevertheless and still had great w/i's. So just wondering.

(BTW...If this post does not belong in this forum...please tell me where to post it.)

I love Wendi (I really do...) but her plan was just FlexPoints utilizing all the points you get in 1 day and varying the points day to day. The other thing is her's is sorta just 'assigned' days for the points. I don't eat the same number of points on any given day.

But many have used it to get over a plateau but to me it is just using the FlexPlan like it was designed.

Thumbs up

I use the Wendie plan and love it. I lose an average of 1.5 - 2.5 lbs per week with it. I really like how it lays out my daily points for me, including flex points, to keep me on track... I like the schedule and knowing which days I can splurge a little... I look forward to those days, lol.

Hey justsomegirl but what if you have life throw a wrench in the system like a party or dining out request? I just want to know how you handle it. I just can't seem to see how stuff like that would work with things like that. Do you move around your days then?

Hi all...I am a newbie to this site and am very confused by this "Wendie Plan". I joined WW 4 wks ago and have lost 8.4 lbs(yes, the .4 is very important-LOL), but I still have a problem using all my points for the day. Our leader says eat more protein, but short of eating a cow, I can't seem to do it. I know my points are high (42), but to have to use 57 on a SHD sounds really bad!!! Can anyone possibly explain this a little further???
Thanks so much for being here!!

This thread can help explain it the best I think of but hopefully you have already read it.

Some otherways to get in those daily points are to add things like a glass of milk or juice. And eat more regular foods (regular fat instead of light or fat free; real bread instead of light). This way you are getting in the same volume but taking in more cal/points.

Thanks...I did read it already, but I think I get it. It is just so hard to wrap my head around ALL those points! I usually use low fat stuff, but maybe I will try the regular, although once again...it is hard to reasonably think of losing weight with out using "diet" products!

Kelly_S: I just adjust my days, and make my SHD (Super High Day) the day of the event. Usually, however, that's not a problem since my SHD is a Saturday and most events are on the weekend.

MamaBPlus3: From what I've read, your body gets used to eating the same amount of points every day. Varying your daily points keeps your metabolisim "on its toes" so to speak. Now, that may seem like a lot of points, and I know this isn't a great thing to do, but if I find myself really struggling to get in those extra points on a given day, I indulge in something I can't have too often! (For me, that's something like donuts, cookies, cake, a candy bar, etc.)

Thanks...that shouldn't be too hard with my Bday comming up and Spring break in Florida!! I am really looking foward to see if I can trick my body into losing weight! I have realized this is going to be a mental as well as a physical journey...and am determined it to be the one that makes a difference. Have a great day!!

JustSome, ok. To me it is just easier for me to adjust the days for when I am hungier and not so hunger or have 'life plans.' But I have always used all my points and rarely just stick to the same number of points each day. LOL
