  • Hi All!

I FINALLY weigh less than 210! I have been EIGHT MONTHS at that weight and was beginning to think my scale could only stop at that number!

    Cheryl

  • Way to go!!! That is soooooo awesome!!
  • Keep it up i have been stuck on 190 for 3 weeks........
  • Congrades to you!!!!
  • Cheryl that is so great! What a terrific surprise that must have been especially after such a long wait! Good for you and way to go for staying with it despite no scale loss for 8 months - I find that so inspiring!
  • That is great news! Keep up the good work!!!
  • congrats for not giving up! now.. onto onederland for you!
  • Well done. I think I would of gone crazy if I had been stuck on that weight for weeks and weeks but you kept too it. Thats brilliant
  • This might sound scary to you. I promise you I'm no stalker. I just logged on, I see a post from you on the main menu, something about being normal, anyway you were the last post, I click on it, and read what you wrote and then I'm like is that a 209 instead of a 210 on Cheryl's stats? So yeah, I already knew. Anyway:

In other words, I"M VERY HAPPY FOR YOU!!!!!

It moved, the scale moved. You did it!!! It can only go down further from here on in!!! Really, the best news I've heard in a while!
  • Hurray - it's so great when you see that movement after waiting for so long. What did you do to get things moving again?

    EM
  • That is awesome! You must be floating on the clouds today!
  • Woohooo!!! Onederland is just around the corner for you!!
  • Thanks SOOOO much all of you who took the time to respond to my sweet little lost pound! What a GREAT support system we have here!

    EM:

I've been watching calories, drinking more water, eating more fiber and have increased my exercise, BUT I did NOT lose a pound! The change coincided with me changing my tactics to eat a bowl of shredded wheat before I went to bed because I was H-U-N-G-R-Y....REALLY H-U-N-G-R-Y. I'm guessing that maybe, just maybe I had been putting myself in starvation mode by NOT eating anything after 7PM. Who knows? I figured that I had done everything that I could think of other than that, and my body kept stubbornly holding onto the weight, so I had nothing to lose by trying it!

    Thanks SOOO much everyone!

    Cheryl
  • That is such a terrific job, Cheryl!
You must be so proud of yourself. It is amazing what a pound can mean in terms of hard work and perseverence!!!!!!!
  • Hi Casey!

When you consider that each pound we lose represents 3500 calories that we burned or didn't eat...well, THAT is an awesome thing!
