Attaching resistance tube to door?

  • I just bought a resistance tube kit. The kit includes the door attachment strap (looks like a loops with a "tail"), however, there is no diagram or instruction on how to use it to secure the tube to the door. How do I do this?
  • Attaching resistance tube to door? - Go Fit "Gym in a Box"
Did you figure out how to use your resistance band "door gym"? The resistance-band door kit is one of the best workout inventions ever. This way you can carry your strength "equipment" with you whenever you have to travel! I have GoFit.net's "Gym in a Box". It's great and only about 30 bucks. It even includes a really good DVD. Gym in a Box comes with 3 colored pieces of tubing for different levels of difficulty. You stick the cloth holder (a loop) through the corner edge of the door- the side where the hinges are. Then shut the door. If necessary lock the door so no one accidentally opens it). Shutting the door makes sure the cloth handle won't slip or be pulled through from your tugging or bodyweight. Then slip one of the resistance tubes through the cloth loop now sticking out from the corner of the closed door. Do your workout with the tubing placed high (arms/upper body) or low (legs/lower body), and so forth.
