August Core Challenge
So ... what's it going to be? I think mine will be:
GOALS a 30-minute walk at least once per week a 30-minute Gazelle session at least once per week weights and floor exercises at least once per week And a minimum of 100 oz. of water CHALLENGE I am not going to stop on the way to work for a Coke. I am not going to stop on the way home from work and buy beer. It's gonna be a looooong month. :rofl: |
i'm going to do 1200 minutes of exercise in august. that's 400 over july's goal.
1--60 min w a 2--60 min w a 3--60 min w a 4 5--90 min hiking week 1 total=270 min 6--30 min hiking 7 8--60 min w a 9--60 min w a 10--60 min w a 11--60 min w a by myself 12--10 min exercise bike week 2 total=280 min 13- 14--60 min w a 15--60 min w a 16--60 min w a 17--60 min w a 18 19--45 min weeding on my hands and knees (i was working 2 hours but i'm just counting 45 min cuz it was not very strenuous. at least i didn't think it was till i got finished. i'm pooped!) week 3 total=285 min 20--10 min exercise bike 21--60 min w a 22--60 min w a 23--60 min w a 24--100 min w a (i got there early and did my own till class started.) 25--40 min w a 26 week 4 total=330 min 27--30 min ex bike (yep, i finally got on it and rode. did it during bb.) 28--60 min w a 29--60 min w a 30--60 min w a 31--60 min w a week 5 total=270 min total for august=1435 minutes |
Wow - very ambitious goals!
Froufie's Cruise Goals: 1) Weigh in under 200! by September 8th! (currently Aug 2 weigh in is 211.8) 2) Go to the gym at LEAST 3 times per week, ideally 4! 3) Do morning floor exercise 5 times per week (situps/pushups/leg lifts) 4) Drink at least 50 ounces of water per day! My goal is 500 minues of exercise. It's low, but I didn't even reach it last month. So I'm trying again, and hopefully I'll exceed it this month!
Also, I would love to be down about 5 pounds. |

Probably! I miserably failed in August.

I think we'll probably try to do a mini-challenge every few weeks. Maybe the next one will only last a week and be for ONE stinkin' pound. Of course, that's even a little more than I can manage these days.

i like small term challenges, too, like that 2x2 one that you've already started. i will do a monthly exercise challenge for myself, though, to keep me moving.
