Tuesday menu, May 2, 2006

  • I'm going to try and stay awake all day, and eat regular meals.

    Breakfast: scrambled egg and skim milk
    Snack: string cheese (1 pt) and applesauce
    Lunch: salad with lettuce, strawberries, FF feta, baby shrimp and balsamic vinaigrette dressing
    Dinner: ??? (friends are bringing dinner to us and I have no idea what it is)

    My plan:

    Breakfast: cereal w/milk (getting tired of oatmeal so bringing a box of cereal to work and hoping to buy some lactose free milk to keep in fridge at work - too much 'regular' milk makes my tummy hurt!)
    decaf w/light cream

    Lunch: spring mix veggie salad, LO rotisserie chicken strips, garlic dressing

    Snack: yogurt, fruit

    Dinner: broiled burgers, baked potato, broccoli

    Snack: popcorn/diet pepsi if required

    Breakfast: Shredded Wheat and Bran, with skim, equal, and banana

    Lunch: Some kind of eggbeater omelet with fruit

    Dinner: Not sure

    d: brown rice, grilled chicken, green beans (8)

    This is mostly core, just keeping track of points because I have to get ahold of myself! Even with all of the "exercise" of painting the scale is up.
  • Breakfast; eggbeaters, one egg (scrambled), 2 turkey bacon (counted pts), 2 bread (2 pts) cheese (pts)

    Lunch: veggie soup, cornbread, skim milk or crystal lite

    Dinner: Spaghetti w/core sauce, skim milk or diet coke, salad

    snack: ?? don't know yet, maybe cereal, banana or yogurt

  • Ok, so today is my first day on Core.
    So far I have had

    B. 2 hard boiled eggs
    S. Banana plus 1 cup skim milk
    L. Two small round sandwich steaks w/ sauteed onions
    S. probably Roasted chick peas
    D. I am making the pork w/ apples & sauerkraut & a salad plus sf ff banana fruit crustless pie

    Please let me know if I made any errors

    Lunch: Leftover pear, half banana and ff cottage cheese / glass of ff milk

    Snack: piece babybel gouda 1pt

    Dinner: Out with ds (his treat). I'll let you know
