Why do I do this?!?!

  • Well, would you believe that I made it 6 weeks on plan, and have went off for 5 days and my clothes are already tight and I feel like crap! When will I learn?!? After trying almost every diet under the sun, I will definitely say that core works best for me, and I really don't feel deprived, except for the chocolate cravings. I've proven myself over and over again though that I'm not one of those people who can eat chocolate or other "junk" in moderation. I'm going to binge. I don't know why, but it happens every time. Well, I've got a night out with the girls tomorrow and might have a couple of glasses of wine, so I guess I'll start fresh on core Sunday. I'm looking forward to it too. I'm sick of being bloated and feeling bad about myself.
  • Kim, I'm sorry to hear your frustrations. Of course we all do this sometimes. But look at how awesome you have done. You have had amazing success, and a few small setbacks aren't going to undo all the good you've done. Just keep going!
  • I know what you mean! Those last few stubborn pounds just hang on and it doesn't take much at all to have them come back again. I think when we're so near goal, we don't see weight loss as much as stomach content and water loss, so it's harder to measure. I guess that's why they say the closer you get to goal, the less frequently you should weigh yourself.

    However, you're going on the way your clothes fit (which IS more accurate). All I can do is second Melissa and say hang in there! You know what works for you, so that's what you have to do.
