Tuesday Menu, 1/3/06

Sorry I was just not feeling creative. :D

b: oatmeal
s: banana
l: spring mix salad w/tuna, carrots w/dip
s: clementine
d: chicken, stir-fried veggies and brown rice (kind of sounds like chicken fried rice, huh? maybe I should just make that instead)
s: slim-a-bear (2 pts)

Katpo 01-02-2006 07:30 PM

Hey, get straight to the point, I always say! Great title as far as I'm concerned!

B: maltomeal, milk
S: clementine*
L-1: tuna salad
L-2: LO tomato soup
S: popcorn (if needed)
D: not sure, but if Judd's dinner isn't Core, I can have beef tips and broccoli

* We should rename ourselves "Angela and the Core Clementines" in honor of our ringleader! I can't believe it took the rest of us so long to get these!

Vickie 01-02-2006 07:50 PM

I like the name! As much as I'm liking the clementines I'll never forget Angela for giving me those SCRUMPTIOUS oven fries. Man, she's really helped me through some cravings with those babies!

septembersgoal 01-02-2006 08:07 PM

Mmmm...oven fries...that sounds so good. I need to go buy some 'taters.
And I had never even heard of clementines until Angela came along! They're really good.
Kathy, you've inspired me to go mix up some tuna salad.

Katpo 01-02-2006 08:15 PM

Oven fries with FF sour cream and cheese makes me feel like I'm cheating. Now that's the sign of a good "diet" food -- you don't even know you're staying on plan!!

ontarget 01-02-2006 08:15 PM

you girls are right on the ball. i don't have a clue for tomorrow cept for bfast. (and i love the name, too, even though i haven't gotten any clementines yet.)

b--oatmeal/milk/splenda/frozen blueberries

aghiowa 01-02-2006 10:19 PM

Awww, I'm honored! My parents got clementines last year, and got me hooked on them. I'm afraid they're not my invention. :D

I'm running out - I only have 2 left so I'd better get to the store!

b: banana
s: (after weigh-in) shredded wheat, milk
l: not sure yet, milk
s: clementine
d: turkey taco salad, baked chips (made from fat-free tortillas - pts), milk

For some absurd reason I have a major craving for CLEMENTINES (and oven fries as well - will have to find that recipe again!).

The Plan:

Breakfast: oatmeal, decaf w/light cream, 1 banana

Lunch: LO roast beef, 1/2 sweet potato, 5 brussel sprouts
1 probiotic yogurt

Snack: baby carrots/sliced cucumber w/dip
1 apple if still hungry?

Dinner: roast chicken breast, baked acorn squash, broccoli
watermelon!!!

Hi, I'm a big fan of Clementines too. They are so sweet and just the right size for a snack.
Breakfast: Oatmeal w/applesauce and ff/milk
lunch: tomato soup made w/ffmilk
snack: fruit (that I have to get out and buy)
dinner: pork tenderloin, peas, and brown rice. Yum!
snack: another fruit and popcorn if I need it.
Just for today I am going to make good choices. Hey, would you gals like to joing me in Cyberspace dining? I think if you were sitting right at my table with me, I'd make better choices!

Judy, I think you are absolutely right. I think if we all got together for dinner we would be really good--or really, really bad.

Katpo 01-03-2006 11:32 AM

Well, I get to work and there's no Maltomeal. I forgot that I had taken it home before Christmas -- so breakfast is actually milk and a banana. Darn it.

Vickie 01-03-2006 03:00 PM

Breakfast: Oatmeal made with skim and splenda

Lunch: Chipotle chicken burrito bowl (points for cheese)

Snack: Dried plums

Dinner: Don't know
