Help!!!!

Hi Everyone
I wasnt sure what board to get on. So thought I would try this one. And if it isnt the one I need to be on. Maybe someone could tell me which one to go too.
Ok here goes. I have been a WW member 15 months. And have lost only 52 lbs. I have been doing points. When I first started I did do core. But then I was missing some of the carb stuff for breakfast. So went to the points. But when I did do core. I was losing. But went to the points. Now I am going no where.
So I am needing some help of getting back core. So any ideas would be greatly apprecitated. I have about 80 to 90 lbs more to lose.
I also need to exercise. Havent been doing that either. But I am going to start doing some kind of exercise. I will have to start out slow. I know that. But I cant gradually build up. Its just taking the time to get started.
I hope someone can help me. I am so upset with myself for not being able to stay on track. And I dont like how I feel anymore.
I hope everyone has a great evening.
Coco

I think losing 52 pounds in 15 months is great! Congratulations on that success so far!

So if you know that Core worked better than points, why not just bite the bullet and get back on Core??? We have lots of good ideas and can help you keep from getting bored. The food list is extensive, as you know, so ... let's see what we can do to get you back on track and excited about it!

Thanks!!

Thanks for the replys. Well started out today pretty good. I think. Had boiled egg for breakfast. But then had a piece of whole grain bread. So I guess I have to count points for that. But then I am thinking ok. Had toast for breakfast. Now carbs for supper. But if I use wheat pasta. Isnt that a core thing. That you can use once a day. I am going to have to get my book back out and reread it. I get a little confused sometimes on Core. Even when I did it before. I would mess up. Eat something that I thought was Core. And then it turned out is wasnt. But I am going to try it again. So please bear with me. I will probably be asking all kinds of questions. So if it is ok. I will be on here. Didnt know if I needed to be on the 100lb group or not. Since I had So much to lose. I use to post on TOPS thread. Cause I belonged to a TOPS group. But I wasnt getting anything out of it. So joined WW. And I really like it. And I really like my leader. Would have quit if it hadnt been for her. And thought since I was having some problems. I could get some help here.
Again thanks for replying. I apperciate it. I hope everyone has a great day.

Coco, you are definitely welcome here. We all have different amounts of weight to lose.
As far as eating something you think is core and then finding out it's not...most of us still do that! Just go on and don't worry about it. Live and learn! It sounds like you have gotten off to a good start today. Usually a piece of ww bread is just 1 pt. So no worries! And yes, ww pasta is core (once a day).
Feel free to ask anything! We talk about anything and everything. :D

52 lbs in 15 months is wonderful! Core isn't really low carb, it's just different carbs. I can't live without them either. I have brown rice or whole wheat pasta almost every day.

Getting here is half the battle. We're happy to have you! :D

Coco,
Here's my two cents! First of all :welcome3: Second, you've done great so far and it sounds as though you want to gear up and get back to your losing streak. This is a great place to start. The gals here are friendly and knowledgeable. Get out your starting books, keep them handy so you can check out a food before eating it and if something's not on Core and you thought it was, count in the points and keep on going! As you keep on posting here you'll see that we all are at different stages of weight and success and all of a sudden something clicks and people who were struggling come to a great point and lose very well again. So, forgive me for going on and on. Just realize you found a great spot and post as often as you can because we'd all like to hear how you're doing.

Coco, Welcome! I've been on Core since September of 2004. I've lost 45 pounds and I'm darn proud of it! I've still got 115 pounds to lose and I'd love it if you hung out with us and kept me company while I lose mine. I've been on WW many times before and always counted points. However, I made HORRIBLE choices on Flex, preferring to eat junk rather than spending my points on fruit, veggies, and milk. I've been happy as a clam since starting Core. I've only done Core since then, incorporated with some exercise. I haven't been able to exercise since the end of September because of health reasons but I haven't gained any of my weight back. I hope to start exercising again next week which I believe is critical to losing on any program.

I love my meetings and my Leader. However, I need more support than just 30 minutes at the meeting. I need encouragement and support throughout the week at weird times of the day or night. These women have become my friends and are the best support system you could ever hope for. Come hang out with us on our general meeting place on Core Board Number 35.

Good Luck!
