My Sister and BIL are gone and we had a nice dinner and visit. They had to go home early because they baby sit their Grands (my Greats). I'm off to put on my pj's and make a cup of hot tea or something. I'm behind on a milk and a fruit so maybe I should make a smoothie. Jim is always up for one.

Time to go watch TV and hang out with my honey.

Sandra -- Randalls = Tom Thumb. My little DD works for them so I know all the good deals. She did the UPCs this Tuesday night/Wednesday morning and told me about the T-bones and porterhouse steaks that are $3.99 a pound instead of $9.49. Quite a savings, wouldn't you think?

I goofed up my yahoo email trying to download messenger to my laptop. I'm a little ticked but will get over it soon.

We just went for our nearly 2 mile walk to the grocery store to pick up a prescription. Murphy loves it because we go to this walk-up window and they give him treats. :D I think he has learned that, too. It's funny. We didn't go very fast but I have read that slower walking burns more actual fat. That's what I'll believe for now anyway! :lol: I hope that you are all having a good evening!

Just call me a silly old sap, but I have to say this. I love you all. You are my best friends, even though we have never "officially" met. But I am closer to you guys than the people I see every day. I just want to tell you how special each of you are.

melissa, congratulations on getting in your walk. i did 2 miles on the treadmill during survivor. next week i'm heading back to 1.5 hours. that will be 3 miles if i keep up the 2 mph pace.

Good morning all. Sandra, you DO have a challenge with your hair. No gels, sprays, anything? Good luck with it, and let us know when you get it done. I don't have an allergic hubby, but I still don't do anything with my hair. Most days I just scrape it back into a ponytail as soon as it's partially dry. Tsk tsk! But my hair is very thick and full, especially right above my ears, so it really tends to give me the "mushroom" head syndrome unless I really work at it.

I love the idea of all of us getting together. Melissa, you're right...what an unlikely group we'd be! Let's see - who's centrally located? Hey, it's me! Party at my house!! :D

And how's this for a scare, ladies? TOM is just a teeny bit late. :yikes: I keep very good track, and for the last 5-6 months, it's been 25 days. Today is day 26. Still not late by any stretch of the imagination, but it's enough to have me worried. However, I'm sure it's nothing - I have an IUD, and the sheer willpower to NOT be pregnant ought to do it, if nothing else. :D Plus, I'm sick and was stressed this week, so that might be it too. I sound very convincing, don't I?

Well, better make dd's lunch, help her practice spelling one more time, and then be on my way.

Hi Girls! Today is a completely at home day for me. I really need to go shop for clothes but I am NOT getting dressed today unless I have to. I'm not sure if our friend is coming to watch the game tonight. That will make me have to get dressed. I'm just going to be doing laundry and making dinner and applesauce. I got an order from Penneys and I need to try the stuff on to see if it fits. I need more clothes badly. The stuff I held onto that I thought would be ok to start the winter is too baggy. Jim made me change before dinner last night because he said my top looked sloppy because it was so big. Fun but expensive. Maybe I'll go tomorrow. There's a great sale at my favorite fluffy ladies store of 30% off even sale merchandise.

What do you all have planned for the weekend? You know my plan....baseball, baseball, baseball!
