thanks, melissa. we were needing a new page to scribble on, weren't we?

kathy, i have fat busters. i don't use it much but today i made curtis some chicken/dressing from a recipe in it. i had a lot pt dinner with core taters while he had the chick/dressing. both dinners were good for a change. we've been in a rut. i'm glad you got erin some comfort food. she deserves it.

angela, did you go fix your tracker? i may go see if i can make a new one.

kathy, i see your temp thingee. lol i thought you were talking about a cookbook.

what about biggest loser? anybody exercising to it tonight? i'm going to treadmill at least 2 miles. yep, i haven't done 3 in a few days. i don't think i have quite as much energy on the flex wendie plan, but i'm still loving it.

Hmmm. Melissa, I may join you on the Core Wendie thing. I may add a few more points per day, since I'm on maintenance, but I like the idea of watching things a little more closely (as I contemplate eating an ice cream sandwich )

I've seen those bear creek soups, but have never tried them. I try to avoid those pre-packaged mixes, because it seems like a lot of them use soy protein or canola oil, both no-no's for me.

Baby dd is tired of being neglected. I think I'll go read some books with her.

Later!

Hi All! I only have a minute. I have to make a menu for the rest of the week and grocery lists for tomorrow. I'm not going to do the Core Wendie plan yet but I am definitely going to try it soon. I walked for 45 minutes today and went 2 miles. I am VERY proud of myself. I'm drinking glasses of water 9 and 10 and I'm thinking about having some popcorn later. I also walked all over the mall this afternoon. My little legs and hips are tired.

I'm glad you are all well. Except our poor Frouf......I hope you feel better soon.

Sandra, what's up with your trackers? Just kidding!

Rita, where are you?

I'll be back in the morning. Gotta go do my duties and be a wifey! I also need to get that applesauce made before the apples spoil! My presence has been requested.

Melissa - we have been married 16 years!

Hi to everyone else. I am so far behind. I think I missed 7 or 8 pages in the middle of board 28. Feeling a cold coming on, so I think I'll go to bed after the kids do at 9:00. Wanted to stay up to watch Nip/Tuck and INXS, but might have to tape them. I'll be back after WI tomorrow; probably around 11:00. Kathy, I think I might be catching up to you...............

Lisa, come on girl! We can do this! I'm down another pound or so even from this morning, but am not even going to look (yeah, right) until next Monday.

Thanks Melissa for the clean pages!

Kathy - you are so sweet to bake cookies for dd - I know she will love having a treat when she gets home - I of course would have eaten all the batter

Vickie - good luck w/the menu planning and grocery lists - and I am very proud of you for doing those 2 miles - way to go!

Sandra - black bears eh? Hope you had your pistol/bow and arrows ready, just in case! I would have probably fallen out of the tree right in their path!

Lisa - I think my ds is going to wathc inxs finale when he gets home (which reminds me I better go check the vcr - when does it start anyways?)

Guess what? I don't want to jinx myself but I think I am actually feeling better and I mean just recently like 7:30 pm or so? Is it possible that it's finally over? I still feel a bit "bruised" and cotton head feeling but the severe squeezing pain seems to have subsided for now.

I felt really bad this afternoon - and even worse this evening - managed to prepare dinner (salmon, squash and brocolli) but was not in the mood to eat it - dh had also brought me some real/caffeinated coffee as well.

Took a couple of extra strength tylenol before driving ds to his work meeting tonight - and I was feeling queasy and sweaty in the car and my head was pounding - had little ds w/me for the ride and he was so sweet, wanted to have an "outing w/mom" - I felt so bad - so I suggested a sundae at the Mcdonald's drive thru to take home and he thought that was a great idea - got him a sundae and dd "ordered" a mcflurry - got home around 7 pm and started to feel a teensy bit better???

Around 8 pm was ravenous - and feeling okay - had a bagel w/turkey, sliced tomatoes, and just now some cereal and milk w/ds before bed. I do feel drained tho and will try to get to bed early.

DD feeling unwell w/sore throat and will probably stay home tomorrow as well!

I am hopeful that I can get to work tomorrow and catch up on everything!

Now I don't even know if we get Big Loser here - will have to check!

No!! I completely forgot about the biggest loser!!! We were walking. Oh well, I guess that is a better choice, huh? We probably walked close to 3 miles in about an hour. I'm pooped!
I'll catch up with you all tomorrow.

OK DH is watching The Office, which I don't really care for, so I'm back.

Frouf, I'm so glad that you are feeling better! I hope that you can get back to work tomorrow and get all caught up.

Lisa, 16 years and still jealous...sounds like a good thing!

Sandra, I can't believe that I forgot about BL!! What happened?? I hope that you got all of your exercise in too. Isn't the BB finale tonight too?

Vickie, way to go with your exercise. You seem totally determined.

Angela, I would love to have you join me on our little core wendie adventure. Those ice cream sandwiches are dangerous, be careful.

I don't know what it is, but whenever we walk I get so hungry!!! When we get back I just want to eat everything and anything that I can find. And it seems like genuine hunger. Who knows. I try to munch on celery, but it doesn't have much bulk to it.

Oh my heck Kathy, 102 in late September? Remind me to NEVER go visit Texas. Of course, winter is probably pretty pleasant there, huh?

I think there's an encore presentation of BL on Saturday night, 8:00 central. Don't quote me on it, but I think that's when it is. I just finished watching it...*spoiler alert*I really hope the wrestler doesn't injure himself further. He's from my city, or a suburb of it actually.

I'm tired, it's late, so off to bed I go. Talk to you all tomorrow!

well, i did 3 miles on the treadmill during bl. i am soooo pumped. today i got a "woman's world" magazine that has an article about bl in it. the article gives some tips--mostly stuff we already know and practice, but it was fun reading.

frouf, i had to come down out of my tree once before curtis was there. i have to tell you i carried my bow with the arrow nocked. so far this year i haven't carried the pistol. i did last year.

omg, kathy! sure doesn't look like football weather down there. saturday looks pretty good, though, doesn't it?

melissa, i saw both shows tonight. on bb maggie won by one vote. (i just typed you a long account of what took place on bl tonight but deleted it when i read angela's post. if you want me to tell you what happened, i will.

i made some of those 1 pt brownies today. they are awesome! i had 3. i made it fine with pts today. and today was my low day. i get 29 tomorrow. life is good.

angela, i like the wrestler, too.

Morning all! Trying to stay op today. Actually I am trying to stay under-plan, because I haven't been doing very well with keeping on my points target.

Angela, I like that tracker. I don't think I've ever seen a penguin walking in a field of flowers before. I think you are right about the encore BL. I will watch it, even if I do find out what happened.

Sandra, good job with exercising during BL!! That's so great! I saw that magazine yesterday and almost bought it too. It looked interesting.

OK I have to get to work. I will hopefully talk to you all later.
