Thriving Thursday Menu, August 4, 2005



  • B: kashi heart to heart w/skim milk
    S: 1 pc. crystal light hard candy
    L: 1/2 baked chicken breast, salad, tomato soup w/soy cheese
    S: apple, carrots w/ranch
    D: picnic at the park
  • b: shredded wheat & bran, banana, milk
    s: apple
    l: big salad w/ham, watermelon, milk
    s: pear
    d: Tomato Sage Pasta, dinner roll (pts), milk

  • Breakfast: Shreded wheat and bran with skim and banana (Angela's sounded good and I've never had it with banana before!)

    Lunch: 1 cup FF cottage cheese and 8 oz Del Monte fruit natural peaches drained

    Snack: Nothing

    Dinner: My stomach wasn't up to red sauce so we went out to the Texas Roadhouse. Baked sweet potato with splenda, cinnamon, and smart balance; boneless grilled pork chop; 1 1/2 cups of steamed cauliflower, broccoli, and baby carrots.

    Snack: SF/FF pudding with FF cool whip
  • Breakfast: lf cottage cheese mixed w/peach jam, decaf w/light cream

    Snack: banana

    Lunch out - no idea!!

    Snack (if required): cut up veggies (carrots, grape tomatoes, cucumber and yellow pepper) w/onion dip

    Dinner - bound and determined to finally make the smothered chicken as I believe I now have all the necessary ingredients!

    Must keep chugging that water!

  • B: lt. string cheese and a banana

    L: Um ... 2 beers? Don't know, I'm not hungry right now

    D: Plan: grilled chicken, fresh green beans, new potatoes with FF cheese and sour cream

    In actuality, I'll probably eat one potato with a dab of sour cream, drink a glass of milk and go to bed. I'm making the chicken/beans/potatoes for the family; I don't suppose that means I have to eat it too though.
  • Breakfast - a handful of puffed wheat cereal baked with splenda
    Lunch - tomato soup, 1 pt garlic bread

    Supper - (Cheat Nite) Hamburger and french fries
