Hi. I'm new to the Core Plan and here is my suggested menu for today.

B: FF Plain yogurt + raspberries
S: FF Cheese + celery
L: Cobb Salad (Romaine + HB egg + avocado + FF dressing), Yogurt
S: Cottage cheese + tomato

Aghiowa, shrimp baked eggrolls, is that in the core recipes??? That sounds great!

Welcome hoosierjem. I'm on my fourth week. I really love the core plan. Looks like we had breakfast together.

B: FF plain yogurt with raspberries and 1/2 banana
L: Core cauliflower soup & Wendy's salad with ff dressing
S: banana
D: Chinese chicken with spag squash (I was supposed to make this yesterday, but changed my mind)
S: Strawberry-kiwi pie

B: had a coke, got to work late
L: Sigh ... they've catered lunch in from Schlotzsky's. I guess I can have salad and mixed fruit and try to stay away from the sandwiches.
D: WW pasta with olive oil, diced tomatoes, garlic, and a little bit of parm cheese

Lots of water and I *WILL* go to the gym this afternoon.

Yes, the shrimp baked egg roll recipe should be on page 1 or so of Main Dishes in our Core Recipes sub-board. I'll go check now. You do have to count points for the egg roll wrappers. Not sure on the pts, but they can't be too bad.

Birthday Menu!

Gee I don't feel older? ha ha ha

Planning to overindulge??? but not too much (need to undo any damage by sat am!)

Breakfast:
TREATED to birthday coffee w/cream (half decaf/half vanilla)
4 slices fresh pineapple!

Lunch out (very fancy restaurant): had the North African glazed shrimp (w/some sort of african spice called harissa - very delish) over couscous w/apricots and figs - with side of mixed greens in vinaigrette - THIS DISH WAS AMAZING (actually not a very big portion so did not feel stuffed). I also had two slices of FRESH baguette w/whipped butter.

Cappucino for dessert - colleague order the cookie plate - insisted I share w/her - so I had 1/2 of a cookie and about 1/2 tiny chocolate triangle brownie - not too bad really. (Hope the sugar does not affect me too much).

Dinner: not sure if we're going out or staying in? I think there may be leftover roast beef in fridge. Otherwise I am still in a major seafood mood, so fish or Red Lobster might do the trick!

Birthday Frouf :gift:

Frouf, you cannot eat dinner at HOME on your birthday! It's a rule......at least go to Red Lobster.
