New to Boards
Hello all,
I'm new to the boards, and to the CORE program. I did WW Flex before and lost close to 20 pounds. I've gained 10 of them back and am therefore 17 pounds from my goal. Any advice about the program? Thanks Apryl |
try to plan ahead.I make the chocolate pudding & have it in the fridge in case I'm hungry.I also buy canadian bacon & put 2 slices in a bag & freeze it so you only pull out what you need.I find you can eat a lot of things like chili & burgers(93%).For breakfast I make oatmeal & cut up an apple & put it in & sprinkle it with splenda & cinnamon.Good luck.

Yes, it definitely takes planning ahead. I make a weekly menu, put it on my computer, and then make my shopping list from that. Then I don't have to wonder what we're having for dinner that night - I already know. I eat leftovers for lunch a lot and hot cereals and/or crustless pumpkin pie for breakfast. See the Core Recipes sub-board for a lot of great recipes. Core eating takes more time cooking, and hardly any convenience-type foods, but it is very healthful. The first few weeks are quite an adjustment, but once you finally "detox" your system, it will feel good to eat the Core foods. In fact, I had some pie over Thanksgiving (saved up points for it) and thought I was going to be sick from all the sugar!
Good luck, this is a great place for info and support! Angela |
Have fun. Eat from the CORE list and find new combinations of your favorites to eat.
