Thanks for all the great advice, everyone! This was all so helpful. I agree with Spryng, it would really be a bummer if I had to count 1 pt for the 0 pt/non-CORE foods. I like Kelly S's post about the 4-5 freebies!! I tried to keep my 0 pt items to about 2-3 a day when I did the Flex plan, and it seemed to work great. I switched to CORE just to give it a shot, try something new, and have a little more freedom (from counting points!!! I was starting to do that in my sleep

As for the soymilk, my list says that 8th Continent Original is a CORE food. I compared the calories and fat of the 8th Continent Light Vanilla flavored soymilk (which is out of this world!) and it has way less calories, fat, and sugar, so you would think it could qualify as CORE, as well. What do you all think?
