Pam, I hope all goes well today.

I'm subbing in science classes today. Won't have computer access. I'll prob be the only one in the class who doesn't. This campus has a BYOD policy. (Bring your own device) It's really neat. The students have a world of info at their fingertips.

I'm taking a WW TV dinner. We're planning to go out to dinner this evening. Have a great day, everyone.

I am miserable today. I have been attacked by allergies or a cold, or something. Yuck. The word on the street is that all of the rain has brought out every wild flower known to Texas and that allergies are at an all time high.

Pam, good luck today.

Back to not being able to sleep until 3 or 4 am. But once I get 6 or 7 hours sleep I am getting lots done. Here are my April goals before I go to work.

1)Yard sale to get rid of as much stuff as possible. I decided it would be a good way to sell tools & clear out stuff & step daughter wants to do it with me.

2) get 1/2 bath done..guy is calling today with estimate

3) pick out house colors for June Exterior painting

4) List Truck, trailer & boat (I decided the boat is too much to worry with & I want to simplify)

5) Some odd projects around house...

Nancy, sounds like you have some good plans there.

Rhonda, I got an allergy shot several months ago that's still working. (knock on wood) I'm sorry you're sick, but aren't those wildflowers gorgeous!

I am home from subbing. Had an easy day. I won't sub again till the 19th. I have turned down several opportunities and am trying to cut back. I have to remind myself that I'm retired.

We went out for a late lunch/early dinner. It'll be fruit for me the rest of the day.

Loving this core plan..

When it comes to food I think I favor variety over quantity. I would rather eat less in order to have good variety than eat more of a limited menu.

Just bought a used automatic pool cleaner than should make my life a bit easier.
Ours broke in the summer and I was trying to get by with manually vaccumming from the skimmers but it was hard to keep up.

I felt a little bit better as the day progressed. I haven't taken anything--I do the nasal lavage thing as yucky as it seems. It does help and most of the drugs you take for this misery make me feel even worse. But I might take Mucinex tonight.

I like your plans, Nancy.

Rhonda, glad you are feeling better. I suffer through everything, when it would be easier to take a pill. Most of those things would knock me out. I have no tolerance for drugs and they hit me hard.

Sandra, yes, you are retired. If you enjoyed lunch, that's all that matters.

Nancy, hope you can check off all those things on your list. Do you still have your dog?

The floor is down. It looks wonderful. They did a fantastic job. The company is good and stands behind their products and labor. The new crew had 3 men and they worked well together and had a system. It took the first guys a full day to do half the room. Today, they tore out the flooring, plus put down the new floor in one day. It's a big room too. 19' x 19'. Now I get the fun of cleaning all the dust and putting my house back in order.

Rhonda, I'm glad you're better.

Pam, I'm glad, too, that your home is back in order. Sounds like you had a good crew working.

Just finished some pineapple/mango/banana. Edited my earlier post to say "science" not "sciences."

ooh, did I say I felt better? That is so "yesterday."

I must go to tap class, then to a meeting about the mayorality campaign, then to take the nieces to art class, then to another meeting. What am I doing?!

I might cancel the trainer because I have NO energy.

Pam, that's good news about your floor--enjoy your dusting.

Rhonda and Nancy, I'm sorry you're feeling poorly.

I'm inside taking it easy. We have a man weeding the rosebeds. I'm lazy today. I'll probably do some reading then go out to plant a few "goodies" after he leaves. Have a good day, all.

I'm home now and am staying here and napping until 3PM. Sorry I passed it on to you Nancy

The only good thing is that I don't feel like eating!

I just took a big test. Ya'll know I haven't had a candy bar since June 2010. Well, I just had a Hershey's milk chocolate with almonds. It was 6 points and well worth every one. The key now is to see if I can stay op rest of the day (week?).
