Still have the headache. Not as bad. But still there.
Have started the day off on track. Had oatmeal. So now to make it through the rest of the day.

TEJAS Hope you have a great time today with your friend. We are suppose to be getting rain later today. Said might even have some storms.

Need to wash some clothes today. Things like that. So see how much I get done.
Well I am going to get off here for now.
But will be back later. Or anytime that I want to eat and I know that I shouldnt. I will be on here. If that happens. I should get alot of exercise today. Going up and down the steps.

Good Morning Ladies:)

Nothing new, except that I had a very bad night sleeping,going to the doctor this morning for the results of my MRI,and I sure Leo will find out today about his pet scan.


COCO-I had three good days on the Core Plan. My bad time of day is the snacking is when watching TV. I have a big sign telling me to stay out of the snack cabinet,and keeping my hands busy is doing the trick. Sending good vibes for your DH cataract surgery Leo goes in for his second eye on the 28th. We have a healthy time breathing in the fresh beach air. Found several people sunning them selves,but to me it was too cold for that.


RHONDA-Have a great time,playing hooky I'd do the same thing if I had a friend in town that I haven't seen in ages. Hope you weather changes so you can walk along your beach.

Have to get ready for my appointment

Just got home from the orthopedic doctor and I have to have another MRI on my full back. He believes that I have a disc in my back that is leaning on my syntactic nerve.If this is not the case he will recommend me to a foot ankle specialist.

Have to go for my second MRI this Tues at 5:15 PM.Than back to the doctor 6/5. Hope a pray that I don't to have to have an operation on my back.

BEACHBUM Will keep you in my prayers. But hope they find out what is causing all the pain. and it can be fixed without surgery.
Hope though that when they get the MRI report they dont make you wait that long before getting the results.

I had a wonderful day today...went to the Art Gallery of Ontario, out to lunch, then the Royal Ontario Museum, out for coffee, then off to dinner...no walks by the lake, just city culture...great fun.

I could have done a lot worse on the food, and I'm sure that we walked for miles and miles.

Hope you had a good day today too. Maryann, we will hope you don't need surgery. But, DH had decades of back pain, then had surgery and now has almost no pain. At least he thought it was worth it.

Hi everyone. Wow, where did the week go?? I started the thread and just now getting back. Work has been crazy - hopefully the next week will quiet down a bit. Food wise, I'm doing OK. I've been honest in tracking my food and points. I've used about 15 of my weekly points, which is great since I've had my "bad" snacks in moderation. I wi tomorrow am, so I'm hoping to lose the pound from last week. I can't believe next weekend is Memorial Day. We are having a cookout on Sunday that weekend, I need to start figuring out my menu. I'll do some core/ww freindly salads at least. Probably just burgers and dogs. I did have a great ww buffalo chicken burger recipe from last summer, I need to dig that out.

Vickie, I'm so sorry about Cassie. HUGS to you.

Maryann, sorry the Dr didn't have any "cures" for you. I hope the next round of testing gets to the problem. Would it be better or worse if it was your back? did you hear anything on Leos test?

Rhonda, you day sounded nice. How is the spinning?

Going to have a nasty rainy day,so we both going to take it easy today.The the only thing we don't like about the Cape is the weather,every on is having such a beautiful Spring day and we get the eat in your bones dampness.

COCO-Thanks for your prayers, I hope this will be the last MRI that I have to take before they figure out where the pain is coming from.Its not in my ankle anymore its going up and down my left leg. I read that there's a new form of surgery called microsurgery where the back isn't cut anymore. Had to take 2 pain killers last night in order to sleep.


RHONDA-Glad you had a great time walking & having some city culture to boot. I'm sure your new way of exercising will over take the food you ate. Thanks,but is not my back its some thing in my back that they believe is leaning on my syactic nerve that causing the pain.Dr Told me if the MRI shows it not a disc He will give me a cortisone shot in my syactic nerve.


VICKIE-Sending :hug: you way and hoping that time will heal all wounds.

PAULA-Glad to see you posting,we all have lot on our plate,and sometimes 24 hrs in a day is not enough.Since This Tues I've been back on the core plan and like you I haven't used that many WPA's I think so far I used 19,a little more than you but its at the 1/2 way mark,and Monday is my W-I.So we're both doing good,and should have a good W-I.

I don't think its my back,as it would hurt contently. The pain started in the ankle 7 wks ago, & it seems to come around 5PM and it last all during the night, if I don't take a pain killer.I think its the syactive nerve that's inflamed for some reason,now that's it running up and down my leg.

No we haven't heard about Leo's petscan,and that worries me also.

Was off about 4 hours. Dont know what happened. Was outside. Came back in no power. Then by the time it came back on. I didnt feel like getting on here.

Hi All:

This is a holiday weekend here in Canada....Victoria Day..so, let's hear it for Queen Victoria!! Most of us have Monday off, and it more or less the kick off to summer.

But, it might freeze tonight. Never again am I going to live where it can freeze in May. And, tomorrow it may rain, just at walking class time. I can't complain too much though, the weather has been very pleasant.

I'm doing well today with food control and spun off 600 calories this morning.

Hello, everyone. It's been a long long week here. Today Curtis and I attended our kindergarten granddaughter's field day. What a hoot! Now PaPa is napping and MeMaw is chillin on the computer.

Maryann, I hope you get better quickly.

Rhonda, it's hot here already. Should be 90 later today. I'm not complaining, though.

Everything outside looks healthy and is growing. I now have roses. Who was it who sang about "Everything's coming up roses"? Was it the same lady who sang about "When the moon comes over the mountain"? Know who I'm talking about? I just remembered her name----KATE SMITH! Do ya'll remember her?

I'm old enough to remember Kate Smith, Sandra.

TEJAS we had a nice day today. But guess rain is on the way for tomorrow. But at least it has dried out some.

VICKIE how are you doing. Understand about missing your girl. Our one light burned out last night. And our kitty would always let us know when it burned out. Because it was her night light. So I missed her pawing at the door. Hope you are feeling better.

BEACHBUM Hope you hear something from hubbys test soon. Hope you are feeling better. Or at least the pain pills are helping.

The sun is out again,wish I could go out and do some walking,but I forgot to ask the doctor if it was ok to do.

Still up a little from my last W-I and I wondering now why it hasn't gone down.I stopped my breads and the only carbs I'm eating are from the core list.
Maybe its the side effects from the meds????????? :tantrum:Wish I could put a finger on it.


COCO-Sometimes in the summer when when the school kids are home ,we lose power and find later out later that one of them speeding went into a utility pole.Sorry you were with out power,hope you didn;'t lose any food in the refrig or freezer.

We heard from the pet scan place,but of course you can't read it. We're have to rely on Wednesdays doctor appointment to find out what it says.


RHONDA-We never know about our weather either,that why some folks down here don't plant veggie or flower until the beginning of June as we can get frost in the month of May.


SANDRA-Thanks,its so frustrating not to know what wrong as it been 6-7 weeks now..Hope this MRI will show something.I certainly do remember KATE SMITH,what a wonderful woman she was and what a beautiful strong voice she had.

Good morning everyone. Today is supposed to be a very nice day out - its going to rain tomorrow. So, I'm going to try to do as much as I can outside this afternoon. DD has Gymnastics this morning, then we have nothing planned. Maybe go hiking?? I need to call my sister.

Other than that, i'm trying to plan a cookout for next weekend. I can't believe Memorial Day is only a week away! This week I'm off to the zoo with dd's class for their field trip. Its supposed to be sunny and warm, should be fun. I did find out I don't have to go on the bus -- woohoo, I'd rather drive myself than sit on a yellow school bus! Also, when they head home I can get home on my own much faster.

I did wi this morning, stayed the same. Which is OK with me.
